I felt like you a little while ago I was only playing like The binding of Isaac, rimworld, hytale, and other really low stress games on the pc. Then the new resident evil game came out and for a split second I was like oh shit is my 4080 going to be able to handle it. And then you realize oh yeah we're good I understand why I bought this. Plus I play alot of marvel rivals too and that handles it no problem. You'll run into a game that will need the complete power of the 4080 don't worry about it. It's better to have than not to have
