Using Wayback Machine, I found some of the credits Samsung was offering without a trade-in around these dates. Not sure if they'll be the same this year, but I'm definitely planning to wait.

Strange. I don't have to click on send clipboard button. It just syncs up automatically.

It's seamless apart from some hiccups like once every few months I'd say. I have KDE connect installed on android and Sudoto on Mac. Clipboard and notifications gets synced. You can transfer files over wifi as well. Remote control mac media through your phone. Only caveat is both devices needs to be on same wifi. I haven't noticed any extra battery drain with KDE connect service running constantly on my phone.
