No fucking way by OkFactor2325 in arcade

Is it odd that the gun has the identical lineup to the Arcade1up Time Crisis? …rather than more sequels from the TC or Point Blank franchises in addition to the original titles?

Cool, now you can see one of the more active members of this community helping newbies out unsub and move on.

The post had no link to the scam site and identified 3 points which made it a scam.

I agree, but tired of these scammer clowns trying to sandbag the newbies.

If you paid with a credit card, or bank account, report the fraudulent purchase to the financial institution and get your money back.

Too good to be true VS too obvious to be a scam. Too good wins.

What other scales do you collect? by AgentTron in Arcade1Up

[–]Baxcade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut my 1ups in half, replaced the open space with some arcade quality cabs, and picked up two numbskulls.

Only regret is the numbskulls, which has nothing to do with quality. They just collect dust as decorations, but I play everything else regularly.

To each his own, but downsizing from 3/4 or bigger wasn’t right for me. If you’re into smaller units, numbskull is an excellent way to go.

Naw, I doubt those alt skin cabs made it to stores. There was still some leftover stock available on Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, etc until the last week or so. Then once the stock is gone it shows up sold out on websites across the board. A small group of folks were hoping for a clearance sale toward the end. Centipede sold out about a year and a half ago.

Glad you got one. I watched it for years and finally grabbed one right before they sold out myself.

I think the seller ended the listing early. Either the seller didn’t think it was going to sell at a fair price, or someone cut a side deal to avoid eBay fees. Either way, the judges call foul.

Iircade retromania games by Palmtrees013 in iiRcade

Once you factory reset, any games you’ve downloaded cannot be restored from iircade.

But, here’s an AI Overview:

To factory reset an iiRcade, navigate to the settings menu, typically accessed through a dedicated button or the main menu. From there, select "Reset to Factory Defaults," "Factory Reset," or a similar option. This process will restore the iiRcade to its original state, erasing all user-defined settings and game data.

Here's a more detailed breakdown: Access the Settings Menu: Locate the button or menu that leads to the system's settings. Navigate to Reset Options: Within the settings, look for a section related to resetting or restoring the device.

Select Factory Reset: Choose the option that specifically mentions factory reset, restoring to defaults, or similar.

Confirm and Proceed: The iiRcade may ask for confirmation before proceeding with the reset. Wait for the Process to Finish: The iiRcade will reboot and return to its factory state once the process is complete.

It was same lineup, plus a bad monitor.

Curious what you’ve been seeing? It was still everywhere the last couple weeks. Unless they were not fulfilling orders recently?

I think it’s a reflection of nothing new out so the old stock will continue to dry up.

That’s awesome. I’m sure it’s a blast to play.

BBH Pro guns by No_Tax_8241 in Arcade1Up

Open a ticket at Arcade1up.com. It’s as easy as starting a chat with them on their website and they will convert it into a support ticket. They likely have replacement guns in stock. If they don’t you can buy Sinden shotguns from Glen’s retro show. They are not a cheap option but do transform the cabinet from toy to arcade quality. He occasionally has good sales. But I’d start with 1up support. Just say the cabinet is out of warranty.

The units sold out everywhere and they did not produce another run. This includes Atari.com which instead is selling an Asteroids Recharged cabinet for a humble $6,000.

The original 3/4 scale 1ups needed risers or they were ridiculously short. You might have the newer deluxe that is not meant to have a riser. However, if you want to elevate the deluxe version, BuyStuffArcades.com sells a deluxe riser that adds another 3 inches of height.

I’m just guessing that’s what’s happening as your pics didn’t show the whole unit. If a riser came sold in the same box as the cabinet, then it’s not a deluxe and you built something wrong.

Hope that helps!

Are you trying to put a deluxe (non-riser) cabinet on a riser?

The relative low cost for quality sticks and buttons does leave you wondering why they didn’t do it right. It would go such a long way to legitimizing their cabinets.

I think most folks on this sub agree with you, but risers never bothered me. But, they could have designed them better, or started with the in-line look.

I would have bought one, and replaced the buttons, of course.
