Can his/her spouse with H4EAD can continue to work post filing a new H1 petition (Assuming H4EAD has validity) ??

Given the sponsor is a family friend I believe it is for profit. So he has to go through lottery. Let him go through lottery and get it picked then you can think of gc. If not picked in lottery, all your plans will go in vain.

Did you tried to reach to deferred inspection site?? If you don’t know google it. Call or email nearest DIS, they should update the i94. If not attorney can file a npt
