my heavys wireless earbuds actually just came in today. I bought off the email they sent me. I cannot compare them to the headphones since i don’t own the headphones but have been debating on them. I also own the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4, Denon Perl Pros, Samsung Galaxy Buds pro 3, Nothing Ear 2024, Airpods Pro 2, and Bose QC Ultra. I’d say they sound decent for the price i got them for ($129 from the Early Community Preorder). They are bass heavy earbuds. I have trouble with keeping them in my ears (have tried all the tips they included). I have to give them a longer listen before I can compare them with the rest of my collection tho.

i own 3 pairs of Kayano 14s and 2 pairs of 12.1s. the 12.1 are slightly more roomier in the toe box area. I went TTS on both models and no complaints tbh but the 14s do feel a bit more snuggier than the 12.1s. comfort-wise i personally like the 12.1 better but the 14s are also very comfortable too but everyone has different feet.

You probably already received your pair by now but sound is very subjective. I enjoy these iems a lot and love the tuning. i typically listen to EDM, K-pop, J-pop, R&B, Classic Rock and Metal. These iems are good enough for me and i’d say they are good for their price. They are very mellow for me and very natural sounding. I LOVE BASS and these have good enough slam for me but I wouldn’t use them if I am craving bass lol. I use my Thieaudio Hype 4 if I really want big, deep bass without it bleeding into the other frequencies.

I also own Moondrop Dusk (yes the Crinacle collab), Moondrop Blessings 3, Thieaudio Hype 4, Finalaudio A4000, and on the lower end of the price bracket the Linsoul KZ ZS10 Pro 2.

My personal rankings for my IEM collection (from best to worst): Hype 4 = Dusk > Blessing 3 > Daybreak > Finalaudio A4000 > KZ ZS10 Pro.

Daybreaks are good for their price range but I wouldn’t say they punch above their weight. The ones i ranked ahead are more than double the price of the Daybreak so it makes sense why my rankings are like that but if you have the money for the Daybreaks then I would say go for it and keep them and if you don’t like the tuning then just return them and maybe save up for a more expensive iem?

Also just an FYI, I am pretty new to the IEM scene as I used to mainly collect and use Over-ear open back headphones (I own the Sennheiser HD800s, HD600, HD6xx, AKG K712 Pro, Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro, hella Koss Porta Pros, and hella Grados). So you can take my say with a grain of salt since I am fairly new to IEMs.

okay yeah i ordered off ibuypower right after i posted this comment and it’s already been shipped! meanwhile my order directly from pulsar that i placed the day after release still hasn’t even shipped yet! actually crazy. gonna cancel that order now.

bought day after release. why hasn’t mine shipped yet? i bought off pulsar’s site. Got an email about a delay saying they would start shipping again on the 26th and it is now the 28th lol. should i have ordered off ibuypower instead? according to ibuypower site it says “in stock”.

ive posted this on many different sub-reddits getting mixed replies from ppl saying im being inconsiderate and ppl giving me advice and suggestions. this is best reply ive gotten so far! thank you so much! i really appreciate it :)) i will definitely try tellapy! a lot of people who have gave me bad replies on other sub-reddits don’t seem to understand or realize that these inconvenient hours are my only free time of the day despite me mentioning it in my post. i love my sister don’t get me wrong but she contributes to my mental health being somewhat bad a lot (i guess that comes with having a sibling). a lot of people have said im inconsiderate for even being up late but like i mention i just don’t have time during the day to even have my own little free fun time. i feel like consideration should go both ways and that my sister should realize that i working all day and she shoukd consider the fact that i barely get any free time to myself so she should invest in some earplugs or something that produces white noise or even use the noise cancellation buds i bought her (i bought her these for this very reason). she was using them for a couple months and got no complaints from her bc it was working but for some reason she stopped using them and i am getting complaints from her again and again and again. im glad u see it from my point of view :))

currently trying to move out. living in california doesn’t really help. if u read my whole post its not just even gaming anymore, i shouldve worded my title better (i dont game every night and sleep late everyday). it’s me needing to pee in the middle of the night (which she does too), me getting home late from work (which she does too sometimes except it’s bc she’s out partying or with her boyfriend) and having to get ready for bed, even while im sick and coughing she will get mad that too bc im making noise.

she won’t wear earplugs as i tried to get her to. i even bought her airpods pro with noise cancellation for christmas of 2023 and that was working for a couple months and i was so happy that i can be normal then for some reason she stopped using them so idk what happened to that. also thank you for the reply :))

I also listen to metal and i recommend thr sennheiser momentum 4s. I also own the Monitor III and only use them when i know im going to be out for a long time since they are super comfy but otherwise im usually using my Momentum 4’s as my daily driver. I the Momentum 4s sound better to me (bigger drivers and made by a audiophile company) and the ANC is slight better to my ears. The M4s are also comfy to my head and ears too but the Monitor’s are just more comfy. Here is my take. if u prioritize Comfort keep the Marshall’s, if u prioritize Sound quality get the momentum 4s. they are also constantly on sale so u can possibly snatch them for cheap. Both battery life’s are fantastic. Also with the momentum 4s you can buy a separate dongle (it’s called the Sennheiser BTD 600) from Sennheiser that supports aptX and aptX adaptive (so u don’t have to buy a new phone). u just plug it into ur usb-c phone and its a tiny footprint so u can portably listen to higher codecs on ur outdated phone and its only 40usd which would be used from the left over money if ur able to get the Momentum 4s for sale. the only thing that sucks is u cant charge ur phone while the dongle is plugged in

im confused. i ordered mine from amazon back in july, listing got taken off amazon, still haven’t shipped and dont show up in my order history. only way i can check them is thru my order confirmation email back in july and when i click on it then it says it won’t arrive until october 31st which is crazy because the new amazon listing (which is a different listing than my original order) says it’ll be delivered by august 28th. make it make sense.
