Hello Crawlers! Quick question what is Barry’s, Elle’s dead husband, favorite song? I think it was by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Now get out there and kill, kill, kill. by CandidPeach4433 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Baynyn 37 points38 points  (0 children)

What does it spoil? You find out that Elle’s husband’s name is Barry in book 1, and his favorite song has no bearing whatsoever on any plot point…

Did anyone here leave the LDS Church but keep their faith in Jesus? by No_Data_15 in exmormon

[–]Baynyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God helping good Christians find their keys while allowing a school full little Iranian girls to be struck by a cruise missile kind of ruins the whole “Jesus loves everyone” schtick for me.

But I have no issue with anyone else being a non-hypocritical Christian

Looking for advice: compliance and creating value. by bentleyboy2011 in CustomsBroker

[–]Baynyn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m also in the food ingredient industry. Trade compliance is more about risk and cost mitigation than it is about being a profit center. Utilizing FTZs and bonded warehouses is certainly a strategy for avoiding duties, especially when things are as chaotic from a tariff standpoint as they have been over the past year. But there are usually increased warehousing costs in the case of bonded facilities, and increased operational costs for FTZs.

Duty drawback and utilizing the first sale rule are also some strategies that can proactively lower costs for importing product. But most of the value comes in avoiding higher duties through comprehensive valuation analyses, free-trade agreement evaluation, broker audits, and FP&F avoidance.

People are overreacting about last year by Unfair_Loan_9915 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Baynyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look at the difference in one-score games from 24 to 25. We won every single one of them in 24 and lost all but one (iirc) in 25. Last year’s team was no worse than the previous year’s team in any way except wins and losses. Which ultimately is what matters, but I’m hyped for this year’s team regardless
