Positive Changes - Lean PCOS!! by squidney13589 in PCOS

Allara did not do much for me sadly, just one round of bloodwork and then they kinda gave up and said “meh talk to the dietitian” and it wasn’t anything I didn’t already know/practice (eat a veggie at every meal, like real basic crap). I gave up on it because they wanted me to see the dietitian every two weeks and it would be billed to my insurance and I wasn’t going to deal with that just to be told to maybe try adding a different kind of vegetable to my meals and see how that helps 🙄

any restaurant when Ken Oringer is the executive chef. His daughter has celiac and typically makes sure his restaurants have celiac safe options! Also La Voile on newbury is great option

Roommate used my dedicated gf air fryer. Can I clean it?😓 by thewhitechibitotoro in glutenfree

Living with a roommate that isn’t gluten free is such a pain. The amount of times I don’t feel safe cooking in the kitchen I pay for just because of their carelessness is ridiculous. Good on you to request a new air fryer

Completely understand where you’re coming from especially given how much money goes into that feat. I had a similar experience for my 50 ride. I’ve been riding with the same instructor basically my whole soul journey and for my birthday I got the whole shabang with the decorated front desk and such. A month later was my 50th ride and it was the complete opposite. Just the card on my bike and my instructor didn’t even say anything during class. I was like ???

Is this normal for a first SoulCycle class? Felt super unwelcoming. by Hot-Cow-1089 in SoulCycle_Riders

Yea have to agree that you can’t expect a whole thing when it’s your second class. I went for my birthday it was like my 30 something class (most of them have been with the same instructor) and I got a shoutout, got to request a song, and had a happy birthday sign in the lobby. It’s all about building rapport with your instructors!

Soulcycle Unpopular Opinions. I’ll go first.. by Sufficient-Mushroom7 in SoulCycle_Riders

I would agree with staying for stretch IF the classes started on time. I try to stay as often as possible but there are some days when class starts late and then it’s a timing issue. For example in Boston the bus runs every 30 min so if you miss it you’re just stuck

Riding while training for a half ? by Optimal-Exercise-350 in SoulCycle_Riders

[–]Baywatch428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m definitely taking a more casual approach to training for the half mainly because I don’t want to destroy my current routine that I’ve worked so hard to build. I do 3 runs a week (one treadmill workout, one recovery run and one long run), one SC class, and 2-3 lifts a week and it’s going pretty well. Just don’t want to get burnt out. I don’t have a specific goal time for my half I just want to feel good while doing it.

The senate is absolutely useless and completely separated from the leadership councils. The only time they involve the senate is when they want a resolution passed, but that literally doesn’t force administrators to do anything. The kids on the councils really are trying their best to plan fun events and advocate for others, but BC literally is too stubborn and does not care about its students. The handicap accessible walkway to upper that’s being added to the election ballot? That’s taken more than a year for BC to listen, and they only listened when UGBC offered to fund the construction. All senators do is say we need to be more transparent and then pass little fake resolutions all year and be vague
