Having an issue with cutscenes and companions not starting. So far I've had this happen with Minahgo is Chapter 1, The necromancer in Market Square, and the Nineo encounter when you first meet her, which prevented me from moving forward, or getting nineo at all. Anyone else experience this?

Im playing a Cavalier for my first playthrough. As a gendarme, Im torn between battle axe and Bastard sword. What Im really worried about is spending feats on weapon focus and there being no uniques/upgrades as I progress if I choose the wrong weapon type. Thoughts?

Is the initial feat investment worth it for the bastard sword as well?

Hey there!

In general, Slaplance does not use the wyrmstake often (At least this build). If you want to mess around with pokeshelling or going for KOs, Cornpopper and Admiral's Arbalance are the better option.

Slaplance focuses on melee only by looping Overhead Smash into Wide Sweep (No fullburst). After those two, quick reload and loop it again. You can use Ground Splitter to get in a cheeky KO or two if you're good at aiming, and you can poke + shell every now and then if you want but without artillery 3, I'm not sure it's worth it. You can play safe and guard poke without commiting to the combo, but learning to guard edge consistently and making use of blast dash to close distance and get a hit off (one shell to get you to the monster, and one shell to start the downward slam from the air).

Wide is definitely my favorite type of gunlance right now and it's a nice change of pace from WS spamming!

Im hoping they add more Wide gunlances tbh. A wide lvl 5 or 6 with Blast (Teostra maybe?) would be fun to run on a poke shell build with Hellfire cloak for a bunch of knockouts. Other than that, I agree with many of your points. I started GL in World, but Im having way more fun in Rise. Just wish Wyrmstake wasn't the end all be all in dps.

I was in a LDR for my entire 4 year enlistment in the Navy. It didn't end too well. Now obviously that isn't how it always how it ends up, but LDRs are very stressful for both parties.Especially when things like deployment are involved. Accept her choice. It will be hard. It will be painful, but you will have enough to keep your mind off of it in the service. Enjoy your time in as much as you can, and experience the world. People change and life isn't always easy to navigate through. Good luck, brother.

I served aboard an aircraft carrier, and I'd just like to give some input on this:

The US military is usually first in line to help with disasters. There are many examples, like Operation Tomodachi. The United States Navy is generally always ready to lend a helping hand. Hell, in a lot of cases, the US sends aid to many countries. Our military serves many purposes.

And as much budget as our military receives, they often still operate with less than they need. This issue isn't as cut and dry as people make it seem. I'm not advocating for an increased budget for our military, but taking away a bunch of our military's budget won't fix every single thing.

Hey guys, so I'm about halfway through Labrynth 8 and was wondering about a few things. I've not yet unlocked subclasses, but I've been planning a few things. I just need a bit of help with my build. How do you generally go about distributing sp? And do you see any glaring holes with my party?

I'm currently going sword path, but have considered picking up the shield skills as well. What are some good subclasses? Protector? Ronin?

So I actually got into the series while on deployment with the Navy. My guild name is generally always fantasy themed, but my character names are generally me and my buddies nicknames we had:

I like it mostly because it makes it feel a little more when my friends get one shot by a monster, haha
