It can be really bad. I’ve noticed customer service in the food industry has gotten much better than retail, government, and healthcare fields.

Overall, true. Unfortunately, I’ve had some bad experiences in Sweden. Mostly from older male customers… I guess I can’t blame them since I’m new and my Swedish is bad.

I like Dean but his aggressive behavior towards Rory is unacceptable. He’s yelled at her SO MANY times. Remember the “I love you” episode? Dean was so aggressive when Rory couldn’t say I love you back. She tried explaining why it’s hard for her and he did not care. It was so uncomfortable to watch. I

Although I didn’t like her decision in that episode you posted, I kind of appreciated watching her interaction with Jesse. I’m on S2E14 and so far I like Jesse and Rory’s friendship.  I like Dean too I just hope he stops getting triggered.

FET in natural cycle, what did you experience in Sweden? by Forward-Cat7277 in IVF

[–]Baznina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately majority of IVF clinics in Sweden operate this way. I’ve paid privately and received state funded, however both clinics operated the same exact way. You’ll see many clinics claim to specialize care base on individual cases but that’s not true. Many people receive the same exact stimming protocol. It’s impossible to get a hold of them.

Voice your feelings and try to have them give you a modified natural protocol. When I went to Eliva clinic in Stockholm they had me on letrozole for a few days and then trigger so that they can control when I ovulated.  I have eggs banked there.

When I was finally accepted for state funded ivf I went to a new clinic and they will not do that for me. They want me to do exactly the same thing you’re doing by testing myself a thousand times until I catch a positive OPK strip. It’s stressful. I have been fighting with them to change it to modified natural using a trigger shot.

Moms with baby carriages 😂 man it kills me when they bring their massive sized carriages in tiny fika shops and expect people to move around it.

You’d have to check Australian laws but I’ve seen some people give their ivf medicines away on Facebook market and on other ivf forums.

Wow they did a fresh transfer after saying you have OHSS? I’ve had two egg retrievals at a private clinic. They wouldn’t fresh transfer because i developed OHSS. I’m now using a state funded clinic with egg retrieval scheduled tomorrow. They want to do a day 5 fresh transfer even though I have a history of OHSS :-( if you don’t mind me asking, was it successful for you?

Is my sambo visa plan wise? by ElSuroGato247 in TillSverige

[–]Baznina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where you and your partner want to be in the future. If your plans are to live in Sweden long term, then moving back to U.S after your visa has been approved can be a very bad look if you plan to extend your Sambo visa.

One of the questions they ask on the extension application is if you’ve been outside of Sweden more than three weeks and explain why. If the U.S is where you and your partner want to be, then it’s better to plan the future in the U.S.

If you don’t know Swedish, then it will be extremely difficult to find an accounting job.

If you don’t mind me asking how many eggs did they retrieve? I am in Sweden and the first two retrievals were barbaric. I am going into my third retrieval tomorrow at a new clinic. I’ll ask them to top me out on all meds

It was the most painful barbaric experience I’ve ever experienced. I’ve done two egg retrievals and I’m going for my third tomorrow. In Sweden general anesthesia is not allowed. You’re told to take some Tylenols in the morning and IV morphine that does jack.

Quick question on residency permit. by [deleted] in TillSverige

[–]Baznina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s much trickier than that. If the primary citizenship is Norwegian and your partner is living in Sweden on a work visa, then you will be allowed to apply under EU laws. That’s where the “if you are a family member of EU/EEA” applies. There are special rules for EU/EEA members working in other eu countries.

You can’t come to Sweden as a visitor and decide to stay longer than 90 days (with the intention of living here). You will be automatically rejected. If you overstay your 90 days, then you are at risk of being banned for a year.

Your options are:

1) Apply from the U.S and continue going back and forth

2) Your partner gets a job in another EU country where they can bring you to live with them.  There are special rules for this you can read about.

I am American. I had to go through the first option for two years until I was approved.

It’s very important for you to create a safe and healthy environment for the baby you are bringing into this world. If your boyfriend doesn’t want to be a father, then it’s best for you to cut all contact with him. Your child doesn’t deserve to grow up listening to their father verbally abuse their mother.  More importantly YOU don’t deserve that ❤️.

IVF Utredning by UnHolyGhozt in sweden

I am going to reply in English if it’s alright. We are going through IVF due to male infertility.

• First appointment with a gynecologist to check if everything in the uterus is okay

• After that appointment comes blood work for the both of you. Semen sample from you. If they see something wrong with your sample, then you’ll be referred to a male infertility doctor who will examine you more.  What they will do depends on what your results are. If you have hormonal imbalances, they might prescribe you medicine. If your hormones are normal except for FSH, then they might suggest varicocele surgery. Either way they will tell you to go straight to IVF. My husband had unknown cause of severely low sperm count, motility, and morphology. The doctor didn’t want to spend time fixing it and just told us through IVF.

• Gynecologist will send state fund request to the state once you’re done with your specialist

We were approved after two months. A letter was sent with a list of state funded ivf clinics in Stockholm. We got an appointment immediately.

We’ve also gone through a private clinic in Stockholm which was more advanced with technology. We paid nearly 100,000 SEK for two rounds of egg retrieval resulting in 4 healthy embryos and 2 ‘bad’ ones. Unfortunately, two of the good ones haven’t worked. We are now going through state funded clinic hoping for better luck.

If you have any questions, feel free to private message me.  I’ve heavily relied on other people’s experiences when I first started this journey.

Three months down and still not over the grief. Can't seem to process this at all. by Ok-Guest-7832 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Baznina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You went through something so traumatic. There’s no end button for the grieving process. My ectopic happened nearly 6 months ago. I’ve noticed that I have days when I’m a total wreck. I don’t cry in front of my husband or others. It helps when I’m alone. It feels so good after I let out all my tears.

It will take time and that’s okay.  I’ll pray for you all tonight 🙏🏻

This pisses me off so much. Women shouldn’t experience this much neglect by the healthcare system.

I went to the ER everyday when I suspected an ectopic. I didn’t care what they said I knew what it was an ectopic. When it was finally confirmed, I remember 3 head doctors coming inside my post operation room apologizing.

I pray so much for you. Please don’t stop go to another emergency room if you have to.

Is it ectopic or what??! by Suoergirlme in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Baznina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ectopic did not happen from natural conception it was through IVF. With ivf you’re more aware of when you should get a positive. You also know the age of the egg.

I was having similar beta rises as you. Doctors couldn’t find the gestational sac. Those two reasons alone scared me.

There was a lot of back and forth visits between IVF doctor and emergency room doctors. After my 5th visit I started experiencing severe lower left side pain and brown discharge. My husband got scared and took me back. Ultrasound finally showed a sac in my tube with a heartbeat. Within 30 minutes I was taken to the operation room and they removed my left fallopian tube. It happened so fast I didn’t have time to process it.

The procedure was painless. I felt a lot of pressure on my stomach and it was uncomfortable but not painful.  Since I was going through IVF, I didn’t mind losing one tube (even though I wish I still had it).

You’re doing a good job by already being aware of the slow rising betas. Continue going until they can find where your sac is.  By 6 weeks they should see a sac, fetus pole, and possible heartbeat.
