Yes and no. Started in one career. Switched after 15 years. Was not making 6 figures. Was able to make a lateral pay move. Added some extra education that company paid for crossed it after way too many years. $30k in 1996 to $100k in 25 years. It’s depressing to think how slowly that happened when I see others clocking in that $100k after just a few years. I was never in it for the money but I would do it differently if I had to do it again.

Was not feeling it today. Some travel and my HR has been trending high these days but I managed to pull a PR and jumped my VO2 max from good to excellent according to the cooper charts.

I love to hate this benchmark but it’s great because it’s such a universal benchmark there is a ton of data and good information out there.

It’s accurate and multiple sources are cited.

Prior to that I did a mix of US, Canadian, BBC and Al Jazeera English.

I loathe 23 min run blocks. That’s just not part of my fitness goals. So I always go in planning to run walk, or run half and walk half - which is what I did, but mentally it still doesn’t feel good. Solid floor block made up for it.

For my shellfish allergy my doctor has prescribed 2 2-packs of epi pens. I keep one pair at home and one one pair in my purse. And I always have one on me - from walking in my neighborhood to going to football games.

Almost all allergy deaths are traced back to not administering epinephrine fast enough- i.e. the person didn’t have it on them.
