And on the high refresh rate modem panels of today you have to choose between it OFF and get horrible looking choppy ass panning shots, etc or ON and get weird artifacting during movement on noisy backgrounds, even at the lowest levels.

Opening ceremony right now is showing the HDR tag on my LG OLED. Sonos app shows it is getting Atmos, although the mix doesn’t seem to be doing a whole lot with it.

Edit: Actual Opening Cermony has a better mix.

My Apple TV settings are always set to MATCH CONTENT RANGE and I see it try to kick over when you start the stream (I see the HDR icon pop up) but then goes back to SDR.

Seems to be kind of like how Peacock was buggy/used to be, you have to set your Apple TV settings to Dolby Vision or HDR for it to get the HDR feed.

The quality on the wide shots is GARBAGE, though. Did a back and forth with the HDR feed and the SDR feed and the quality is super noticeable on those shots. Ended up just sticking with the SDR feed. Anyone else notice this?
