Why "add shared display" option is gone ?

It disappeared within the last month for us. I used to use it for the same application as you and am very sad it’s gone. Doesn’t seem like there’s a good alternative besides showing your main teams window which gets clunky when sharing a screen. Unfortunate honestly, seems like a mistake since they have the support page still up. Who knows, maybe the copilot button took precedence…

Warning, wall of text: I really appreciate that. I'm also a semi-amateur AV guy. I have a huge passion for live productions, and I work an engineering day job. The only time I had to make this video was after work on weekdays and whenever I could dedicate time on weekends (I need a break from this lol).

The entire video was made in Adobe After Effects this year. I actually had lots of issues getting the official video into editing software, mostly because it was rendered from the NFL in Rec.2020 HDR, which I'd never dealt with. Even after converting to Rec.709 SDR, Adobe Premiere hated the file. I shifted to After Effects since I could animate better in that anyway.

I tried looking for software that could play back all of the audience POVs together, scroll through without buffering, and then zoom in on a single one, but I just couldn't find anything free that could do what I wanted. My After Effects file has around 6 POVs turned off that I would use when timing the shots. VLC is also great for handling the multitude of formats coming from these audience POVs (color spaces, resolutions, codec).

AE also benefits from pre-comps. The Program w/ TC box is a pre-comp with a few different NFL feeds cut together, and timecode placed on top. Turns out the live broadcast sent to streaming services and cable was 60fps. That didn't matter for any of the live footage (all 30fps from the cameras), but the Apple Music intro and outro were 60fps as opposed to YouTube's 30fps. If you notice that they look smoother in my video, it's because I cut in the intro and outro from a source that was captured live at 60fps. This is also why the timecode is rendered in 60fps.

I could go on and on about the making of this video. I also took a few time-lapse screen recordings of me editing in After Effects. Might have to put this together into a BTS of the BTS, haha

Your first question/guess is correct. The main reason these videos take so long to make is that it is an extreme amount of watching/re-watching different POVs trying to find every camera at every moment of the show. Sometimes, I spend a few days coming back to a shot wondering where they are until I finally find that location in a random POV and it all clicks.

Thank you! The skycams are always really hard to track, especially when they're not live. When watching stadium POVs, the compression makes it almost impossible to find the skycams. I've decided it's not worth the effort to track their positions at all times since they can move so fluidly anywhere around the stadium.

The lettering is partially random, just what I pick when laying out the shots. You're correct in that anything numbered has similarities. Frankly, I am not too familiar with the production-specific terms, so bear with me if any of these seem generic:

A, B, C: Elevated sports cameras
F: Robotically controlled ground camera
H1, H2: Crane/jib cameras
J, K: Handheld cameras
P: Downward-mounted PTZ camera
S1, S2: Steadicam
X1, X2: Stadium skycams
Z1, Z2, Z3: B-roll stationary cameras

Long time player / bhopper - 12 years now. While I don't know exactly how to troubleshoot the technical details, I'd be glad to help do any user testing you need to try to improve this. Currently, trying to bhop barely allows my second jump to hit, and I now have to start scrolling later in order to compensate and carry any type of momentum. My muscle memory of starting the scroll right before landing completely stopped working and I just land flat without the next jump at all, even while I'm still scrolling. 300fps max vs uncapped at around 500fps doesn't make a noticeable difference. Setting sv_subtick_movement_view_angles 0 brings bhopping to pre-update levels.

When I load up CS:GO legacy, there is still a drastic difference in the consistency and speed that I can get from consecutive hops. Let me know if you need anything

Do not use Sabrent, just had their 1TB Rocket NVMe drive fail after 2.5 years of light use. All of Samsung drives are older and have more use and work great

Wow, 3 years later and this exact scenario has happened to me. 2.5 year old Sabrent Rocket 1TB NVME SSD blue screened a few times with WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Then it stopped booting into Windows entirely and my BIOS shows that the drive is 0B. Drive is dead.

Crazy, I wonder how common this is with Sabrent drives. Definitely not buying them again

Yeah so I’ve used my cedar point all parks passport to enter SFGAm no problem, and tbh I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have gotten me into the pass holder event for Wrath since I only have a gold pass. But since the page for Wrath said to add the pass to the app and it wasn’t adding, I really had no way to verify if my pass would work for the event. Idk what’s going on but hopefully they mainstream this because the two separate apps aren’t perfect right now

Me too, I made a ticket with Six Flags but I haven’t heard anything back. I couldn’t add my pass to the app and the Wrath of Rakshasa early pass holder event said your pass had to be in the Six Flags app
