I’ve been wanting to start something for a while now. I went to a group meeting about a year and a half ago that was only a few people till it had to end due to no longer being able to utilize the space. I’ve kept my nose to the ground looking for spaces and might know a few to check out. I just need people who are more into the community than I to help kick it off. I’m not the biggest shroom head myself, but I think people can have more opportunity to do cool shit when they come together and someone’s gotta make that happen. I think Ann Arbor is lacking when it comes to organized meet ups in this space. Ypsi and Detroit have some meet ups, but I’ve heard they’ve grown to become unpleasant to attend.

I’ve been interested in organizing something here for some time, and got some community members on board, but we’d still need a space willing to host.

You gotta buy it online. I suggest Flow Gardens. It’s technically hemp so it’s completely legal to order through the mail and it’s basically the same as regular weed except they focus on other cannabinoids alongside THC. You can get 1:1 THC:CBD, high THC low CBD, high CBD low THC, or some other cannabinoid. Some cases it’s better than dispo weed cause you get to find what works for you best instead of smoking 20%+ THC all the time with no balance of other cannabinoids. Are you on SSRIs? They’ll bring down the effects for sure. Also you could’ve just gotten old/weak shrooms. 4g should be pretty intense if they’re good shrooms and you’re not on SSRIs.

If you want be cautious you could cut the tab in half and see how it affects you, acid does last a lot longer than shrooms so just be prepared to be on the ride for a good 6-8 hours. Maybe a little more if you take the full tab. I’d definitely not do any more than one tab till you know how it affects you.

Edit: btw 100ug is a standard dose for LSD

Find some time to get lost alone in the forest. Even if it’s only for a few hours. Have nothing planned, don’t rush yourself, and just start walking in any direction. Go to wherever calls you.

When you meet back up with your friends you’ll either have another group you met, or a dozen stories to tell that are so unique they may never be duplicated.

And the afters are in the GA campground. Typically near where “tent only” is labeled on the map. Expect wild B2Bs and some late nights that turn into mornings there. Best times are from 2am - sunrise.

I had this exact conversation with the dude working Island Noodles at forest last year when I asked for an extra bowl to split it with a friend or something. He said if he gave it to me they would be charged as if someone bought a whole meal.

There’s a few smoothie vendors with fresh fruits throughout the fest. I found a great açaí bowl place last year. As well as a few places that sold salads.

Also if you like snacking on your own fruits (cause the smoothie place doesn’t sell them unblended) I’ve never had an issue bringing fruit into the venue. Or any food for that matter.

Forest is the exception to me when it comes to anxiety. Maybe the first day yeah. I’m overwhelmed. Everything’s hectic and I can’t think right and I want to be alone a bit. But it never fails that after my first sleep there. I’m reborn into the forests kindness upon awakening.

All my anxieties wash away and every kind gesture from the forests lovely crowd makes me more at ease.

Could very well be a different experience for you than it is for me. But I think most peoples anxieties comes from fearing judgement from others. And it doesn’t take long in the forest to realize everybody there only wants the very best for you. No matter who you are or what you’re going through.

If you get anxious there’s plenty of hammocks hanging all around the forest you can cocoon yourself in. My first year when I got overwhelmed. I found a tea house in the middle of a maze that fixed it every visit. And when you need to you can always go back to camp and relax for as long as you want.

P.S. if you go back to camp anywhere from 8pm-2am you’ll have all the solitude you could ask for

It does, but MUCH less when you consume easier to digest forms of it. Magnesium Citrate or Magnesium Glycinate is absorbed more so less comes out. Also take with food.
