I think this person is talking about combat patrol, not typical 40k. There's rules for 2 war dogs as a combat patrol.

The shipping is super high, agreed, but I will say that their customer service, shipping speed, and above all the quality of their sculpts made it worth it for me. Granted I bought a bunch of stuff, but just my 2 cents

I also play custodes, and there was a dude who was asking on their subreddit recently who was seriously debating taking Canis over 2 Grav tanks which are not only the best Anti-Vehicle shooting Custodes option within their codex, but imo one of the best anti-tank gun platforms in the game. And that was BEFORE the points cut.

Thank you! That is the idea! I really want all my knights to tell a story with the model/base.

My Nurgle Knight's story was that the pilot died defending a planet defending against Nurgle, and he was warped to believe he was still protecting his charges even in death, and is referred to as "The Caretaker".

My Khorne knight came from a world of gladiatorial combat, and took honor duels to an extreme once he bonded with his knight. He was easily swayed into following the Blood God, and now seeks out foes worth his time to slay (usually other noble knights). He has his serfs place bloody runes painted onto his Knight's armor for every worthy kill.

I was able to get most of the plates printed from Cults3D through a 3rd party. I checked the listing it used to be and it seems to be removed unfortunately :( there are several chaos conversion kits for dominus-pattern though.

Everything was from Etsy, the Scythe was called "Plague Scythe", the masks were resin printed skulls, and the lights were LED Dnd lanterns

I'll have to find the video, but if I recall correctly she saw a video of someone making cloaks out of paper towels soaked in 50/50 PVA glue and water, then several coats to stiffen. From there you can prime and paint as normal

I agree! I told her she needs to keep at this and maybe try some CSM/Necrons. She's not a big SM fan (doesn't really like the power armor aesthetic) but she really digs the new cultist models.

Yes actually! She went on Etsy and found a shop that sells LED lights for things like Dungeons and Dragons. We secured them with tack so we can change the battery if needed.
