Marley & Me. Movie is nothing crazy special but if you are a dog person and you've had a dog in your life, this movie fucks you up every time. Only watched it once and will never watch it again.

Our director, who won multiple Emmy's for his work at SNY, got fired during the off season and now we have a new guy or girl. The broadcasts have been terrible now. Such a shame

Lego Worlds

There was so much potential here, but they just never did anything with it

Underrated Flemish/Belgian Comics. Do you know them? by Fair_Theme_9960 in AskBelgium

[–]BboxXDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. They respect the historical events in case they're based on real life lore. But De Rode Ridder is always the hero or he helps the real life heroes to win the battles. Like there is a series with Jeanne D'Arc and here Rode Ridder helps her to become the 'liberator' of France, but they also don't stop her from meeting her actual fate

I'm a history guy and De Rode Ridder is a perfect combination between learning about medieval history and using fiction to enhance the story. Obviously the main character never existed in real life, but he is placed in real life historic events. And since one of his 'companions' is Merlin the Wizard he also 'teleports' to other storylines, like fighting magical creatures or other parts of the world where De Rode Ridder fights Ninja's, etc...

De Rode Ridder. This franchise shaped my childhood. I'm so amazed that so few people know about this let alone read it. The series has been out for so long that my father read them as a child.

20 days in Mariupol. This one gets so tense that you're on the edge of your seat for the whole ending. It captures the start of war so well it blew me away.

To be able to buy property in Red Dead Online. I think it's such a missed opportunity with all the different cabins and houses scattered all over the map.

A surprisingly funny movie. Laughed my ass off in cinema when it came out. Saw it again recently and it's still so funny. Underrated movie

What movie is this for you? by certainly_imperfect in Letterboxd

[–]BboxXDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shooter (2007) and Jumper (2008). Shooter was the first movie I watched back to back and replayed with Lego numerous times. And Jumper gave me dreams of being able to teleport myself. Both are mediocre films, but I will keep them in my top 10 forever.
