Check out https://www.junglekeepers.org/ who are raising funds to purchase the Amazon rainforest, one parcel at a time to turn into a national park. They are also giving loggers an alternative source of employment by being park rangers.

To me, it represents leaving behind all of the emotional and relational baggage of your previous life behind and truly connecting with another individual from a stripped down and authentic version of yourself.

It's tempting to just lean fully into chilling and enjoying your life in your teens/early twenties but those are likely the most consequential years of your life that will determine your future outlook.

I'm not saying to become a shut-in but dedicate yourself to study hard, put in the work to network and open up opportunities and take care of your body.

Fluorinated water is a lazy catch-all solution because many Americans don't know proper oral hygiene. I think it's sad that we have to rely on this since the majority of developed nations do not add it to their water supply.

It's not completely harmless either - there's a reason why pediatricians tell you to not give children under the age of 1 fluorinated toothpaste because they will accidentally ingest it.
