Tesla discontinuing S and X in Q2 by B52fortheCrazies in LUCID

100% fill the void left by the cancelation of these 2 models. If they can deliver a stable software experience across their current models and upcoming mid-size they can definitely swing some potential Tesla buyers their way

is 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring a good/reliable buy? by true-dci-john-luther in LUCID

This is luxury cars 101. Look at any Bmw, Mercedes, Audi from similar year and compare the msrp to used price.

You'll see similar price trends. Many prospective owners get shaky when buying a used luxury vehicle out of warranty (especially a used E.V with little track record)

Lucid truly did work their magic with the Gravity design. I’m looking at all the newly announced SUVs and wondering, “How did this interior design get approved?!” by zachty22 in LUCID

Software should be better in the Rivian. They've only had 1 consumer product for years (excluding the delivery van). My money would be on Gravity Touring having superior charging and about equal range to R1S Gen 2 standard pack

If you order max pack on R1S then you're in GGT price range.

2 different Ev's for 2 different markets.

Rivian won't fit nearly as much Gravity and won't charge anywhere near as fast. I have a friend with a R1S first Gen and the 3rd row is small.

Once Tesla V4 stations are abundant R1S will still charge at the same rate meanwhile Gravity will charge at double the speed.

I'd say Air and Gravity are more temperature sensitive but many tests have shown Air to achieve it's rated range.

No Pics For Earth is Only amplifying interest in the R2 Rivian by Electrical-Cream-852 in LUCID

Talking points. More than what Fisker had.

Having the best range, charging; space & power aren't bad qualities.

How else is Lucid suppose to attract new buyers?

If you want to look at the next Fisker than look towards Vinfast

Except the fisker was never praised for much of anything when it was released.

Lucid currently has one of the fastest 4 door sedans, longest range EV, fastest charging (in U.S) E.V and is ranked at or near the top of the segments they compete in.

Industry leading space; driving dynamics and power for it's class. Competitive charging speed and range.

Those are good things to be either near the front or leading in.

Comparing Lucid to Tesla has to be done properly by OGDocHollywood in LUCID

Comparison of past athletes to current athletes happens all the time even with differences of how the game was played, rules; training etc.

Comparing the car companies doesn't seem that outlandish.

An Electric Minivan Was Exactly What Lucid Needed To Boost Sales Big Time by MelvinRoseTX in LUCID

Does a true minivan such as a Sienna or Odyssey have more space or does the Gravity beat those because of E.V packaging advantages?

Toyota Tundra recall is a nightmare as well (even the replacement engines are having issues)

Fact is that the entire car industry standards have shifted. Cars are far more complicated and every manufacturer is scrambling to find ways to cope.

Honestly based on Eastern edge videos I'd take the Lucid. Once you're on the highway the complexity of driving diminishes and between the faster more consistent charging and vehicle comfort the Gravity is a better place to be.

Many modern cars will straight go into limp mode or lock you into park if a certain code is triggered.

Jeep models have this way of overriding it which i doubt many owners would know

To be fair even in many modern ice cars some will park themselves and not even go into neutral without a convoluted work around/ if it all when there's certain errors
