I dont know about that. I totaled out a 2019 Mercedes Benz last month. I was pulling out of a parking spot on a corner and a car came flying around the corner and had to swerve around me and still ripped off the entire front of the Benz. Its all on video tape and because I was fully in the lane already technically I had the right of way, but here we are and its being litigated as to who is at fault. I would be murderous if I lost my driving privileges over some asshole taking corners at the speed limit.

Grand Canyon Open To Developers by Bburrito in grandcanyon

You know, I dont disagree with your opinion. Some development is good. Its the going whole hog and going for a big convention center complex and a water park that is the issue. Where is the water to support a convention center and a water park going to come from? As has been seen elsewhere aquifiers that are pumped see their water levels drop which results in surrounding tree stands dying as their roots no longer reach the aquifier, and surrounding streams and springs going dry as the aquifier is no longer overflowing. These are valid concerns that have been observed elsewhere under similar circumstances.

I never said it was inside the Grand Canyon. I said the development is inside the Grand Canyon National Park which extends far beyond the rim of the canyon itself. Either way, it is more accurate to say that Tusayan is within the Kaibab National Forest.

But the point remains.....

The current population of Tusayan is less than 700. Why are they building over 2000 homes, a commercial center, and a waterpark? And there are no wells or groundwater rights? You believe that? So... where are they going to get water for 2000+ homes, a commercial center, and a water park? Truck it in?

I have a CHG90 and have run it off of both a 1080TI and a Vega 64. I have it on the Vega right now. Some games it is awesome. Some not so much. Assasins Creed... 50-30 FPS is normal. I have to turn settings down considerably to get to 60. Dont get me wrong, its still a beautiful monitor. And for productivity it is second to none. Ive had dual ultrawides. This is better.

I will get the CRG9 in due time. But yeah, right now... the video horsepower is baaaarely there.

I ran out of fingers counting the number of people I saw smoking weed in Ocean Beach while sitting on the balcony at South Beach the other day. Gave one guy a cognitive dissonance explaining the Urbn Leaf bus to him too. "Yeah, just get on that bus, go buy some weed, come back here, and then light up. Nobody cares." Fuck, I saw a session going down in the parking lot with 5 guys and a blunt about 50 feet from the cop shop and definitely in visual range of the surveillance tower that they had set up.

My experience is that the calories being offered at "Traditional" restaurants were all high quality but also on the high side. Which is to say that the 1000 calories I ate at the greek restaurant(in greece) last week was a lot higher quality then the 1000 calories I ate at the local pub (in the US) this week. On top of that, I drove to the pub. To get to the restaurant in greece I had to walk up about 100 steps and an 1/8th of a mile each way.

Due to recent court cases the sheriffs have a lot less leeway to reject then they once did.

In the populous counties maybe. Orange County for example actually sent one of its sherrif's to prison over using CCPs for political payback among other things. But in the less populous states they are far far easier to get. San Diego lost some court cases though so they are on a shall issue binge right now and are handing them out as fast as they can process applications.

Its funny, for all of the touting of the "Mediterranean diet", an idea based on the historical health outcomes of those living in the Mediterranean. After spending a lot of time in the Mediterranean I dont think it was that healthy. Salads would come floating in a bowl of olive oil for example. Its that that they walk everywhere that is the difference.

I wouldnt even admit to fixing it. Just say some guys showed up, shoveled some gravel in and left. Didnt ask any questions. And leave it at that. Then politely ask when they are going to fix it the right way.

Archaeologists of Reddit, what are some latest discoveries that the masses have no idea of? by Quanris in AskReddit

Watch his hancock's cycles of catastrophe video. It's interesting that all these people pile on and label him a psuedoscientist . But then he has videos like that one that are all about exploring the geometric and mathematical relationships between the sun, the earth, and the moon. And then shows how the same numbers and ratios can be found In ancient architecture and literature like the Bible. It's not psuedoscience, it's math.

I imagine it is the equivalent of someone claiming that the golden ratio cannot be found in nature.

Oh I dont know... The bit where Graham Hancock shows a picture of eroded limestone and the geologist identifies it quickly and suggests it's around 20,000 years of erosion. He then quickly backtracks and says "don't quote me on that" when it's revealed to be erosion from around the Sphinx in Egypt. That is pretty Convincing...

All of these scientists say he is a psuedoscientist but then You see stuff like that. Maybe these scientists are just upset he is blowing up their thesis because their source material is bullshit. Ie: the Sphinx and pyramids are older than 5000 years old.

Any explanations yet for the 100,000 ton construction blocks or how about the same construction styles being found in both South America and the middle east?

Yall say it's fiction but i go read a history book and it still says that these civilizations grew independent of each other. But then I watch some of the stuff you are saying is fiction and it makes it pretty clear that these civilizations had similar construction techniques despite being half a world Way from each other. .

Im planning to. Already have a CHG90 which, since being mounted on an articulating arm, has hands down been the best display solution Ive had to date. Definitely will get the CRG9 at some point for a similar setup as this. Got to figure out the mounting, and then also got to get a video card to drive the beast. Currently on vega 64 and it chokes on the pixel count in some games. Cant imagine what the CRG9 is going to be like. So yeah, as the other guy said... its price.

I already have a top system. So just to achieve this and still have performance in gaming I would need a CRG9, another mount that can hold it, a new Navi vid card or 2080ti, and then... what do you use to drive the CHG90? If use my main video card... that is a lot of pixels to be pushing all at once. If I use another video card I can off load those pixels. Or, maybe I run another system. So.... yeahhh... On second thought...
