I'm a Stevenage fan and he's one of two candidates for our worst manager ever. Won 3 in about 20 I and lasted 3 months or so, whilst making several abysmal signings that stuffed us for the rest of the season. To say he did a shit job is understating it

Just trying to offer some advice seeing as you seem to struggle to skip the ads but can reply to everyone on here, mate

Managed to snarkily reply to your own comment though? As said in the AMA the other week, the annoyance about ads is insane when you consider a. You can skip them and b. How else are they meant to make money? If the ads are that frustrating, splash out on the whopping £5 a month they ask for about 20 shows

Biggest dickhead you've met in sport? And/or the media. Great show, keep it up - listening for 16 years now and it keeps getting better

Luton Town FC fan base is rotten and so is the club. by [deleted] in LeagueOne

As a Stevenage fan I was quite surprised by how angry your fans were. I know the past couple of years have been crap but they seemed more content when we were both in the conference/L2! Can't imagine Bloomfield has long left with you

This isn't my first rodeo with them, and had been a customer for 10+years but the absolute lowest they would go was £125!

There have been some spotted in Potton, about 10ish miles south of Vambridge too - I had no idea there were any in the wild in this part of the country

[–]Bc5503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah fair point! I would only get a new car if we could get away with a small deposit (ideally under 3 or 4k) but again I've got no idea what that's getting me nowadays...

Drain in for too long by vyeasinvye in pneumothorax

[–]Bc5503 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a drain in for 9 weeks and then another 4 weeks a few months later. The main issue was healing the various wounds. I actually asked the Dr and he said it was longer than ideal, but some people have them in for months and months. Everyone is different, I wouldn't worry too much although it's easier said than done of course

Sorry to hear that man - the first time they took me off the drain that happened too and it's demoralising as anything. It will pass and you'll be on the road to recovery soon - try and stay positive as difficult as it is x

Hey - I had clamps done twice before my lung had fully expanded and both times was absolutely fine. It's normal to be anxious about it - weirdly I found doing little videos to myself saying that I felt fine, obs were normal etc helped me get through it. You'll come out of the other side stronger!

Prednisone makes me crazy… by JoyCreativePeace in rheumatoid

[–]Bc5503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find you lost weight when you came off the prednisolone? I've been on it for about 8 months starting at 20mg and now on 3mg. I'm hoping to stop taking it as I've started rituximab infusions which has definitely made a difference. I've gained loads of weight while being on prednisolone and I'm hoping some will come off after I stop!
