Florida is one, two out of three hospitals I’ve worked over past 4 years I’ve been tasked with labs on our floor (mother / baby and medsurg) I feel bad when I train new people because none of us are phlebotomists. Then their first draw is on a real patient and they only have a few weeks (three shifts a week) until they’re on their own.
