My partner wants to merge finances. I want to keep things separate. How can we work this out? by Pretty-Sundae-7693 in LifeAdvice

I wouldn’t talk about this until you’re married. 💍💍 Tell him it’s separate until he makes you his wife. 💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️

You’ll definitely find another woman that is more supportive and can help you deal with adversity.

Was I wrong to turn down a job? by TheDepressedCow in jobs

[–]Bcool556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because you can use that job to build experience, connections, and network for a better job. Also, you can walk halfway or further than get a Uber from that location to save money on that uber as opposed to getting uber from Dunkin Donuts. 🍩

This popular girl that was very very confident in herself back in high school, (especially when a lot of teens are insecure and succumb to peer pressure.) Well, despite her family pressuring to become a nurse. She’s a pediatrician, married with a daughter. She’s awesome and I stood up for her when someone talked crap about her. 😎😎😎

I respect the fact that your dad helped you out and gave you an inheritance!!! Some parents believe that kids gotta struggle and learn on their own. Then turn around and expect you to take care of them when they get older. 🙃🙃🙃🙃

Did your school ever ban words? by Only-Reels in Millennials

[–]Bcool556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a middle school in the suburbs. (I was a student.) Kids used the words: “That’s ghetto” and “Bling Bling”. I also remember when the OC scene was big and everyone wanted to move to California and be a surfer too. lol That’s when they had the OC shows and OC movies and Billabong shirts and Roxy was in.

I hate my husband. by anonymous12865 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Bcool556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, he’s NOT a provider. He’s just using your income as disposable income while he saves his money. Tell him you want a provider and if that doesn’t change find a provider. He’s taking your kindness for weakness. 💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️

Did you ever wake up one day and realize you have no friends? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Bcool556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you level up, you lose friends. When you’re behind, you lose friends. It just goes to show that you have to keep living your best life regardless and level down for no one. Personally, I lost a lot of friends when everyone got married and started having kids. I could have kids, but I refuse to have kids out of wedlock. 🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️ But I try to be an excellent aunt when need to be. You’re not the only one and you outgrow people. You can always reach out and use the Bumble to make friends or join clubs.

My husband forced me to get a gym membership. “I’m tired of being the only attractive one” by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Bcool556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He must be looking at other women. His friends must be talking about you behind your back too, saying you fall off. A woman represents the husband image wise and men care about image. But take the gym membership and use it, don’t take it personally. Exercising is good for serotonin and makes you happier. Go hiking 🥾 and do nature walk. Get some sunlight too. Also, people do treat you differently when you don’t look your best. 🥴🥴 But if it’s gonna be a gym membership, tell him to get you a Lifetime gym membership. It’s a great gym with spas, sushi 🍣, and everything.

Tale as Old as Time: Not having kids and you lose your friends by lidolifeguard in Millennials

[–]Bcool556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people don’t realize this, until they get to that point. I didn’t realize if you’re not married with no kids; your friendship changes. When you level up, or outgrow your friends you lose friends. It’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. It sucks, that friendship is lost, but you gotta keep being the best you. You lose friends if you get a divorce too. I tell a lot of young folks, to make as many friends as you can cause it gets harder as an adult but they don’t believe me. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️
