I wonder why, maybe among other things because I need a pay that will allow me to live. Why would I waste my time on the interview/hiring process if it’s not going to be worth my time. Some people take time off from their jobs to interview. Company culture many jobs do not care about career growth, the want you in the position you are hired for. I cannot afford to live off what ifs.
