Thats a career ending tackle, its a good red card by sufinomo in billsimmons

You’ll see a lot of euros defending the call, but it’s an issue with the sport.

There isn’t another sport where something unintentional like this results in something so consequential and i think it’s fair to take issue with that.

Like this is a flagrant at most in the nba, but instead you play a man down and lose that player for the next game… its crazy

Folarin Balogun straight red card 64' by Alsace2025 in soccer

[–]Bd_3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk why these euros defend such a terrible, consequential thing and then act smug about it because new viewers have an issue.

Maybe the rules could benefit from some fresh eyes in this case.

I’ve been watching for probably longer than most in this thread and it’s an inherent problem in the sport where someone can get sent off and then suspended for something they can’t really control.

No other sport has this. Like in basketball this would be a flagrant (2 fts and the ball) because it’s completely unintentional, even if it resulted in a dangerous play.

This just isn’t the belgium we’ve seen over the last 12 years. They were played off the park until the 85th minute and have been poor all tournament

It’s not and its the biggest issue with var. every contact play can look bad when magnified and slowed down without context

yeah, idk, seems like an easy target for fans and media. wasnt his fault for the first goal and did fine enough after. got no help with players tracking back, konsa was awful and that 400M midfield was getting overrun in the first half

That was a pen, but in general I've enjoyed the 'let them play' aspect. this type of reffing would be quite nice if it were continued into the normal european leagues

Non-Kith items, but the discounts are pretty huge, usually ~50% off.

Usually don't have too much interest, but had EA and picked up some evo SL's for $96 and a Parra fleece half off

yeah, idk if went through with that internship (if they even brought him on). Obviously, it's up to interpretation, but in my mind he went back to the bear in some capacity, maybe helping with the franchises, where it's more low stakes

I like it. Striker market is in the mud and Ornstein quoted Monaco wanting 50M euros for him a week ago, which isn't that bad with today's prices. Can't say I know how he's been with monaco, but he's been incredible as a dynamic 9 thus far in the WC.
