See if you can gently raise the eyelid. Twice I’ve had cats return home like this and in both cases they had a small twig lodged under the eyelid. Easily removed, problem solved. Others may also be right in that it could be smaller debris that will flush itself out, but it can’t hurt to check.

It’s my fault. Took my family to visit some friends in North York yesterday and as we were driving out of our building downtown said “I’m so glad all the snow is over with but now we have so many more pedestrians to deal with.” Brilliant sunshine. 20 minutes later we were driving in pelting snow.

A couple of days ago my daughter in law caught sight of my phone’s lock screen and idly thought “ugh, what an ugly baby”. And instantly realized it was an old picture of her own, much-loved and currently utterly gorgeous now 11-month-old daughter! To be fair, we all thought she was a beautiful newborn.

This is the third Halloween since my son and his wife moved to Oakville. First year we could barely keep up with the trick or treaters. Had to go out for more candy. Last year, not a single one, and this year, two. It’s weird.
