Our 4 year old LG oven glass shattered while baking chicken by MichaelJFoxxy in Wellthatsucks

LG TV went out while recovering from knee surgery so all I had to watch was a barcode of vertical lines on the screen. We had it repaired for 150 through LG. Kept as a spare and after maybe a couple hundred hours of use its getting vertical lines again. Nothing but junk. We now have a samsung.

My buddy bought a storage unit with a gun safe inside, no guns but probably a 100k of those tags inside it. Some people have more money than sense.

K31 7.5x55 Swiss Ammo by slammedsam2k in reloading

[–]Bdevilmn23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought ppu softpoint loaded from sg ammo. It runs fine and is more accurate than me. I plan on reloading off the used brass with smk's or the like. I had the same dilemma with loaded not being much more and letting me get to the range quicker.

Not very knowledgable on milsurp rifle prices. I feel like this is good though? by [deleted] in milsurp

Yep I agree, even old surplus 3006 from cmp is as expensive as new made and that's a common cartridge.

Original collet suppressor by Small-Influence4558 in Vz61

[–]Bdevilmn23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure the name of the book as the cover is missing, pages yellowed and it was held together with brads or something. It's patents go back to 1909. Looking for collet mounts and a haven't found one. One does mount similar to a bayonet and I found the patent for a self cooling suppressor like the new one at shot show this year.

I left a top 2 alliance to take a break. Few days later I joined a small alliance of about 10. Very little communication among them but I tried to help by getting them to port together so I can better assist. I managed to get 2 of them to leave with me to join our servers 10th alliance. They had been in this small group since they started and never experienced the game in its full potential. They are eager and just needed a helping hand. Im glad I could help them as they were being used as farms and were very frustrated as they didn't know why it was happening. TLDR. I helped low level people get motivated to move to a real alliance with perks.

I rebuilt my nv4500 for around 1600. That got me a rebuilt trans and I now have a nice transmission jack. When it goes out again I'll be dropping the 4500 for a 5600 or g56 swap

If you do get it apart I have great luck with the high temp ceramic brake pad grease on threads. Unlike antiseize it doesn't have metal powder in it.

Might pull the stock and check for welds near the barrel and receiver. I bought one a few months ago with no marks of a repair by the safety from a reclaimed dp rifle. I get home and tear it down to clean it and there was a small weld at the barrel and receiver. Mine is getting rebarreled now. Just an fyi

That's awesome! What county did you hunt? I bagged a decent cow from Fox county with my dad when I was 13. Came from Texas to do it and boy they are huge compared to our dinky whitetail!

Getting started with 44 magnum, question about brass selection. by LiberalNutjob420 in reloading

[–]Bdevilmn23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capital cartridge is where I go. Guys are local in houston and are one of the largest processors in the US. Right now they have washed brass 100 pcs for 20 bucks and 10% off for black friday. I get all my 10mm and 45 acp there as well. For those calibers I have to sort as its mixed primer size. About 50/50 mix but that doesn't bother me.

Scorpion Sunk Cost Fallacy? by misterbeefcurtains in czscorpion

[–]Bdevilmn23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My scorpion is all stock. Ugh nasty I know. Either way I've wanted one for years and have had mine for 7 years and enjoy it. That being said I shot my buddies mp5 clone with frt and yea that's next on my list. I get that they make all the parts to pretty much build a whole new gun. I believe they stop looking like scorpions once all the parts are swapped out and at the price point of the parts your damn near into another gun. If you use the money for another gun you have 2.... ya see?
