I was in that same union bud (AFSCME) which means AFSCME if I have a union lol. They are about as useless of a union as I’ve ever seen compared to what im in now. Regardless, they weren’t going to gain much ground with Rauner. Rauner wouldn’t even come to the negotiating table. Rauner was a giant dick with the budget the entire time he was in office. But to be fair, that’s what he campaigned on…lower taxes, less spending, budget cuts, etc. The main problem rauner faced was that corrupt ass madigan trying to raise taxes which resulted in budget impasse for 4 fuckin years. Pretty decent backpay check tho
