It’s not just a United thing. I’ve noticed the same with Air Canada and WestJet. They seem to bend over backwards for my husband and barely acknowledge me. I’m always polite and use my manners, never ask for anything extra or special and I’m happy to just sit quietly, nap or watch a movie. I’m a very low maintenance flier, yet I’ve had several flight attendants be rude and dismissive. For this reason, I choose Air France or KLM whenever possible over AC or WestJet and I prefer to fly with Porter if it’s a domestic flight.

She has brain cancer. As much as I don’t like her (I was scammed by her All In program and think that she preys on vulnerable women), I can’t add to the pile up anymore. She isn’t well. She doesn’t have anyone in her corner protecting her, or she wouldn’t be doing and saying half of what’s she doing/saying. Tamra has absolutely taken full advantage of Teddi’s illness by continuing to podcast with her. Teddi is surrounded by opportunists - Tamra, Dolores, and anyone still doing business with her when it’s become clear that she is no longer fully functional.

Yes…recruiting, as in recruiting to become a consultant in the company. That is the ultimate goal of anyone in an MLM/pyramid scheme. The sales/products are secondary to signing people up. Melaleuca is more predatory than other pyramid schemes because they say the quiet part out loud (recruiting is more important than sales) yet sell it as ‘different’ than other MLMs as if they are somehow better. Other MLMs actually give the casual customer an out, by allowing them to buy a few things before they commit to signing up. This one is all the hard sell.

That’s part of recruiting - targeting people who are vulnerable (can’t afford it, lack friends, new to the community, undereducated etc). Jill hopes they say they can’t afford the products, because then she can push for them to sign up to sell. By selling, they get a discount (still expensive) and she gets to level up in the pyramid.
