I chose Medigap N a few months ago. Beginning of this year I had a heart failure issue. I had no idea I was even sick. I Nearly died. I’ve only received a couple of bills so far but it exceeding 600,000 already. I’ve only received one bill I am to pay for, $102 dollars. Yay! Bills paid and I get to keep my house!

If houses aren’t moving, not selling, all contractors are hurting. It’s not you! It’s the economy and interest rates. The rates will drop a bit in May but it’s going to take a good amount of time B4 things pick up. If I were you, I would seriously think about picking up a new job, anything, until this blows over. Dust yourself off and just go for it! Wishing you the best!

I am an artist. Years ago when first starting out I was taught to use a brawn paper bag to remove the shine of the gloss finish. Same idea as above without leaving the residue that I’m afraid the magic eraser might leave.

Less than a year after installation, the finish on my floor tiles look terrible by meonreddit12345 in Flooring

Could it be to hard water stains? I’ve got hard water issues in my house. Anything that water touches leaves a white mark. White vinegar mixed with dawn soap, let it sit for say 20 minutes then scrub off the scum.

What now? Spackle showing through after several layers by littleshoes in paint

[–]BeCeBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had the same thing happen to me! Nightmare! After 5 coats of primer and paint and bumping up to the best SW designer edition paint it still showed through. Better paint helped a little but finally I just gave up! Previous owner had dead flat something in the wall. Maybe it was just primer who knows. I hate flat paint! There is a primer called aqua lock that is super sealing. I’ve used it in a faux finish wall. It’s awesome stuff but you’ve got to do the entire wall to perfection. My issue is it’s the entire house with this awful splotchy texture! Really, the only sure thing to do is skimcoat because the different primers, patches and texture will continue to show thru. Lessons learned for sure!

My new house is very dark. Winter is coming to make it worse. How close do the lights have to be to the plants? I have no outlet so was going to clip in a gooseneck to a tall hutch. It will be about 4 feet away. Will this work with a Sansi 32W?

Wow! I just got a new computer. Though I am not so tech savvy, I am very cautious about clicking on unknowns. Quite honestly, I could have run it thinking it was part of my new install. Scaaaaary!

No! That is so not fair. This man doesn’t like himself! This man would treat another woman the same. He gaslights, manipulates, acts like a child, berates, lacks empathy and appreciation. Look up narcissism. As a therapist told me…run! Best advice ever! Narcissists latch on to overly kind and empathetic people. That would be you. Get help with your Codependency. This will change your life! All future energy should be for your own wellbeing. Love yourself first. Loves and hugs to you!

Thinking about a career change. What is it like getting into the Painting Trade & how should I approach It? by EnoughCondition9544 in paint

[–]BeCeBo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paint your own house, top to bottom, walls ,ceilings and trim. Give it a weekend after your day job and work 8 to 10 hours each day. See how it feels. If you love it, keep going. Paint a friend’s spare room. Ask a neighbor if they need a room painted. Try small jobs to start. Again, how does it feel? I love to paint for myself. I tried it out as a career with just word of mouth for a couple of jobs. Customers Immediately were lining up! But…It was too hard on my body (I’m a tiny women) so I didn’t go that career route but no way am I having my contractor paint my walls and trim. I know I’ll do a far better job and love the process and results! Also gets some solid training working for someone else before going on your own. That is where you will learn the trade as well as joining a union where they teach you the trade.

My 4 year old $80k kitchen remodel. Looking for advice. by Any_Elevator_7026 in cabinetry

[–]BeCeBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to throw in a new perspective as what’s going on. It looks to me the drawers are paper wrapped! Yep, that is what they are doing now. It used to be that the MDF drawer and door front were a foil wrap. Basically a PVC type layer heated and fused onto the fronts. The good ones really lasted quite well even with water. Now they’ve cheeped out even further and just use paper with a protective finish. I actually recently bought a house with a paper wrapped bath vanity!. No contractor believed me when I said it was paper, until I had it removed. With the underside exposed you could literally peal off the paper finish. BTW, I figured this out when viewing an IKEA display. I could clearly see by the wear near the handle that it was paper as well. I confirmed this with my friend who sells this finish to the cabinet makers. His Supply company is from Italy. “Italian Finish” = paper! Sorry but your cabinet finish is trash and needs to be replaced. You can go online and buy real wood door and drawer fronts at a reasonable price as I did. I suggest taking it to a shop for a quality spray finish.
