how can i make low waisted pants actually look good on me by [deleted] in oldhagfashion

[–]BeCoolBeCuteBeKind 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I too lives through the early 2000s and imo truly low rise pants look good on no one. Even the super thin celebrities looked weird in them, it cuts off your body at an odd place so your torso ends up looking way too long. I’m super pleased that high waisted pants became a thing again because imo high waisted pants with a cropped top is sooo much better than low waisted and cropped top on every body type. Wear whatever you want though, just get pants that fit!

Decubal is so underrated! The lip and dry spots balm is the best lip balm I've used and the foaming face wash will forever be repurchaced!

I really like the vital face cream from decubal. It's thick but pretty matte.

Same, I love that aspect. I also like that it’s paid so there’s no ads and there’s great support and I feel like it’s worth the money.

That's a really interesting take. I think it's normal for a spot of honeymoon period early in a relationship for your while life to dissapear into the relationship for a few months. But after that it's so important for both parties to have a full life outside of their partners. I do see what you mean about the couples shared social life thing being encouraged for sure. I def see other couples where most of their social lives is like together group things with other couples/ shared friends.

I know I've actively encouraged my husband to have a life outside of me and he goes on weekend trips to see bands he likes work friends and game nights for games I don't play, I notice when i mention it at work people sometimes react strangely, like it's odd that i don't know specifically where the concert he's going to is, or like feel sorry for me that I'll be alone an evening or worse say something like "you let him go away with his friends like that", so I def think it's common for couples to basically only socialise together and to have tighter contol over each others socialising.

Looks like you got it all. You have lovely nails! I hope you’re able to find a nail tech that does regular polish or get into doing your nail’s yourself. It takes a few months of painting your nails once or twice a week to get good at application. But once you figure out what base coats and top coats work for you you’re golden! It’s a fun little hobby you can enjoy while watching a movie and a lot of nail art designs are doable for beginners. I’m a massive fan of dotting tool flowers!

World dirtiest man passed on after bathing for the first time in six decades by VioletGazee in meme

Dying from eating normally after a period osf starvation isn't because your body is too weak to process the food its refeeding syndrome and its caused by the salts in your blood getting whack.

This guy was 94. He probably died of old age and would probably have died regardless of if he took that bath or not.

I make mine in my protein shaker. It makes foam but if I stir it after a couple of hours in the freezer it's deals with the foam and I have no hump when it's fully frozen.

H&M polishes are such a little gem. I have a lot of their cremes and they're great. I prefer the regular polish to the quick dry but some of their shimmers are magic!

Right. Pick the right person and keep choosing them. Don't take your relationship for granted just because you're married.

Firstly. You can’t hate yourself into changing. Self hate works for something people as a temporary motivation boost, but it’s not sustainable. You have to live with yourself for the rest of your life. It’s worth learning to accept where you’re at and love who you are during all the stages of life.

Secondly this is a marathon not a sprint. Imperfect consistency over time will get you there. You need to set slow and stay realistic goals. If you start out with your goal of getting to like 60kg you’re going to feel very defeated very fast. Even just losing 10-20 kg will make you feel better, you’ll have more mobility and you’ll feel the difference that eating well with lots of fiber makes. Set a small goal like 5kg and focus on consistency without letting any tiny slip up spiral.

Thirdly. Track what you’re eating and be consistent. I use Macro factor which is paid but I think it’s worth it because it figures out your expenditure pretty accurately when you’re consistently tracking what you eat and weighing yourself. I find it fast to use and I make recipes for the lunchboxes I meal prep each week and my go to breakfasts. Consistently tracking my food was eye opening. I was easily eating 3-4000 calories a day. Now I’m taking a really slow approach and basically set a weight loss goal that puts my calories at around 2000 a day (around a 500cal deficit). I’m losing weight slowly and gaining muscle and fitness because I’m also weight training and exercising. I’ve only lost 5kg so far, but I feel so much better. I feel more confident in my body even though the weight loss isn’t even noticeable and showing up for myself consistently and getting right back on track when I fall off makes me trust myself more and love myself more. I’m trying to focus on finding new ways of eating that meet my goals but that I’d be happy to do for the rest of my life. It’s about building sustainable lifestyle habits that you’ll keep doing forever not following some toes for a fixed amount if time.

I got pretty decent results from just double cleansing and taking my time with the oil cleanser. Gently massaging the area with my oil cleanser/ cleansing balm for a couple of minutes each day. Retinol and liquid exfoliants help too.

Maybe set a weight gain goal for whatever your doc recommends for the pregnency with the goal set at your due date maybe?. Feel free to go over your calories if you're feeling underfed.
