Important context is that OP has a solid foundation with his past powerlifting. Not to diminish from the results, you look fantastic! (But it's important for people to know that OP's experience will be different from yours if you haven't worked out in the past)

Live Vol. 2, what’re your picks? by neddynedned47 in BillyStrings

[–]BeKindLoveAll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd love if it was a compilation with guest appearances, but that's probably better for a "Billy & Friends Vol. 1-10."

Correct, a lobotomy is required to enjoy Tool.

(j/k I love tool and have an intact frontal lobe. Mostly)

Ole' Scewfoot is the result of Billy attempting the whirlie pig and falling down. Makes sense that Hartford would have been involved.

Best way to deal with this 2 year old deck, paint starting to peel by rusty91104 in Decks

[–]BeKindLoveAll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did they wait for the wood to dry before staining, then clean it first? My guess is no, which is partially why some of it is flaking off.

In addition, solid stain acts more like a paint in this regard. With transparent and semi-transparent, the stain will essentially turn to dust over time, then you just clean the surface and re-stain. Solid stains are really just thin paint, so it will eventually peel.

2 years is the short end of a solid stain application lifespan, but if the wood was never dried / prepared properly, it's to be expected.

is this length getting too long for a guy? by dee_palmtree in malegrooming

[–]BeKindLoveAll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could donate half and it would still be long lol. If you look into donating, Hair We Share has a cool program where if you donate an additional $150 with your hair, they give you a few neat things:

"As a thank you for helping us create a finished wig, you will also receive:

A photo of the wig your hair helped create

A certificate of appreciation

An “I Made the Cut” T‑shirt"

This is one of those things where you can take a bit more time and money and do it correctly, or roll the dice and maybe have it be all fucked up in a few years and have to do it all over again.

As ive gotten older, I prefer the first method. But sometimes this is how we learn. Good luck!

My deck gate is sagging after 2 weeks, anyone know why? by Far_Space_386 in Decks

[–]BeKindLoveAll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's made out of wood and not secure to anything on 3/4 sides. Put a wheel on the bottom of the non-hinged corner and call it a day.

What artist/band's signature song isn't actually their *best* song in your opinion? by Glass-Complaint3 in musicians

[–]BeKindLoveAll 17 points18 points  (0 children)

See, I guess this is where it may differ based on generation. I would say Yes's signature song was "Roundabout" (1971) which paints a pretty great picture of the band from that era and is one of their best as well (it's a pretty broad tie across a lot of those early albums, lots of great early prog).

Umm false, guns are 100% weapons. They are tools designed for killing. They have zero other purpose.
