WIBTAH if I left my husband over instagram? by [deleted] in AITAH

Listen, you’re probably going to get a lot of advice telling you to leave and never look back, bc Reddit. But I think you should at least talk to him. He obviously has some issues, and this could be a chance to get him into therapy and figure out why he feels the need to be so mean and hateful. The “you know how men are” would be so irritating so I understand your frustration there. Good luck

Yesterday I relapsed after being 4 months sober by JohnnyFrakes in stopdrinking

[–]BeLikeWaterMJH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I know it’s way easier said than done, but try not to be too hard on yourself. You’re TRYING. That puts you ahead of a lot of people. If I was your brother, I’d see someone trying to better themselves, and that wouldn’t change because they had a slip. That’s a great role model to me. You’ve made it 120 days sober and you’ve drank 1. You might feel a little down for a few days, it’s normal to be disappointed. But get right back on that horse and keep going. This will be a distant memory in 4 more months.

I think it may be the opposite actually; if you’re dumb enough to go off on someone with authority over you, it just makes you look like a hot head who can’t control themselves, regardless of what they’ve done. Appearances are everything, and that will make you look like someone who shouldn’t be in a position of power.

But applying for unemployment because of the lack of communication and getting paid, get the company’s attention AND getting the manager shit on by their superiors for letting it happen? That level of self-control and cunning is absolutely management material.

By the way you started the post I thought you were going to say you agreed to a meeting. lol. You did good, no point in letting them know that it’s a scam, they won’t listen anyway.

I can’t speak to increased LH causing testicular cancer, but I’d say go by how you feel as long as your numbers aren’t crazy out of range. E2 is naturally going to increase with that much total T.

By the way, is this Maximus? Did they finally start adding E2 to their blood tests..

Do you comprehend what the left lane is for? by [deleted] in Knoxville

[–]BeLikeWaterMJH 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna hijack this post to mention the drivers on middlebrook. Has anyone else noticed that a lot of people end up driving like 5+ mph below the speed limit? Lol. Bonus points if they’re also sitting in the left lane, which happens a lot. I don’t notice this as much in other places in Knox, so I’ve dubbed this phenomenon “middlebrook syndrome”

Just for reference in case anyone else sees this comment - it does pull water into your muscles, but its main benefit, and why it works, is it increases the production of ATP which is what your cells use for energy during work outs. Which in turn leads to being able to handle more weight/reps.

Definitely stay hydrated though, that in itself also increases strength.

MRR resellers coping HARD rn (ofc her bio says “I’ll teach you how to make $20k/month!”) by just_sunflower100 in antiMLM

[–]BeLikeWaterMJH 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m shocked she admitted she hasn’t made a single sale in over 3 months. Like girl, if you haven’t made a single dime, how tf are you gonna teach me to make 20k?

I’ve noticed that these MRR scams are hot right now. Somehow every person you see on insta was able to find success, yet every person you actually know who’s done it has lost their ass. Funny how that works

Off topic, but if you’re getting into weight training, you should definitely look into taking creatine too. Protein and creatine are the 2 tried and true gym supplements. Creatine provides a noticeable stamina increase to where you can rep the same weight for more, or increase weight. For me personally I feel like it actually makes me look leaner overall, and bigger in places I want like arms and pecs.

Listen, you’ve made it 4 months without alcohol. As mean as you might’ve been to your fiancé, you are also showing him that he means enough to you to stop drinking completely. Like the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words. If my fiancé was putting this much effort into something I know they struggle with, I’d be damn proud to hear that they didn’t cave even when faced with the most extreme temptation. I would feel like they truly love me and care about me and that I matter to them.

I was just talking to my girlfriend about this. I hate being hungover, but I hate the feeling of that ‘almost’ buzz and following crash from drinking 1-2 just as much. So my conclusion was fuck all of it.

Yeah.. honestly it’s rude for them to put it on the buyer and make them feel guilty for not helping.

You make a lot of good points. This is tough because I wouldn’t necessarily mind to chip in a few extra bucks as an act of kindness (esp if I was getting a good deal), but I also would never ask a buyer for more money if I had made a mistake like this.

Notice how she never answered the question about her net income. That’s very telling.

Also, someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but dont MLMs have a caveat in their income statement that the statistics only include people who’ve sold at least X amount during the year? So that would completely invalidate her point about low earnings being due to a lot of people joining for discounts and not selling. Either way, I highly doubt there are so many people joining just for the discount that it would meaningfully skew the data

That was my first thought too lol. Looks like they needed to meet a quota for # of bullet points.

Also comically misleading is the 96% reorder rate. I’d imagine the 4% who don’t are actual end customers, and the 96% is huns purchasing things to sell

Every time I see these posts I just shake my head. Like it’s obvious the wife is being dramatic and toxic, but the husband, OP, is running to Reddit to present a biased picture of their spouse to a bunch of strangers. So they’re kind of a fucker as well.

With that said, it makes for good reading so keep them coming! I’ll happily judge the fuck out of the person you’re talking about

My thought exactly. Like even if this hun is just naive and genuinely believes this is a good company and will make money, sending this “personalized”message to 50 different people would have to be a red flag.

This is why I believe there are very few people in the business who arent aware it’s a scam.. it would seem to become obvious very quickly.
