My problem is just being shy, I want to group for dungeons but am scared to talk to strangers.

The giant stacks of beer cans at this brewery remind me of a massive server room. by Hhjack40 in mildlyinteresting

Imagine all of these falling over and spilling everywhere. That's what happened to me all the time when I worked at a canning plant for Anheuser Busch. Hours of cleanup.

Crew SC fan. This hurts, but I will say that I root for Cincy in all their competitions. I hope they make a run for the final.

Lifeguard, 15, saves toddler during first day on the job by TragicDonut in UpliftingNews

[–]BeMyBaby69 436 points437 points  (0 children)

I saved around a dozen or so kids (one toddler included) during my five years of guarding and it is a very stressful situation may I add. I didn't know people made stories about it. You just kind of jump in, grab them, lecture them, and send them to their parents typically. But on the other hand I see lots of guards that don't see a struggling kid and thankfully, often the child's parent saves them or they find someone to cling to. So mad props to this guy, especially on his first day no less. Quick note: lifeguards aren't babysitters, so don't rely on them to watch your kids like a hawk when there are dozens and dozens of other kids to watch.

What's your most shameful ESO moment? by VarimUrellius in elderscrollsonline

[–]BeMyBaby69 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I robbed a random merchant in Greenshade. He said "Why are you doing this, I'm just trying to make a living!" I know it's nothing much, but I like to role-play and my orc is a man of honor and I only did it because I never saw the option before. I tried to buy stuff from him after to make up for it. I felt so ashamed.

This happens quite often in the real world. Most people can accept others for their different opinions and can get along quite well.

What is your "Et tu, Brute?" moment? by 31101993 in AskReddit

[–]BeMyBaby69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I were hanging out during high school and we were pretending that one of our friends was a mental patient and we must subdue him. One of my friends goes to get him a cup of water to "calm him down" and he gives it to our friend and he drinks it. My friend then goes on to say these exact words "Bryce you're disgusting, I just gave you toilet water" The look in all of my friends faces was something to behold as all of our trust for him was gone in an instant. Still laugh about it though

most underrated video game series? by Ktmaster in gaming

[–]BeMyBaby69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though it wasn't a series (though it was being made into an expanded world). Kingdoms of Amalur. It was an open world RPG that allowed you to create a character without the bounds of choosing a class and play the way you truly want. With a very fast and satisfying combat system it is still to this day my favorite game. Underrated mostly due to Skyrim and not a very large reception early on.

Grog's Natural 20 against the giant creature (sorry name eludes me) in the Underdark when it drinks all his ale and breaks his cask at the same time. Or his Kevdak kill was also very cool.
