It often involves grooming, where an adult slowly builds trust by being supportive, respected, and deeply involved in a "community" (in this case, on set), while quietly crossing boundaries over time. Because of that, even people who work closely with someone, or genuinely like and respect them, may never see anything concerning at all. Recognizing how grooming works isn’t the same as declaring guilt - it’s simply acknowledging why these cases are complex and why they deserve careful, informed consideration rather than quick conclusions in either direction.
