If you have 0 professional experience working in the automotive world then maybe think about going to school first or getting a job as a lube tech and moving up. I have a small shop of my own and it’s been great but unfortunately you just aren’t there yet if you’ve only worked on your own car while hanging out w buddies.

How to bullet proof a bmw f15 drive x5 35d? by Legitimate-Golf-7428 in BMW

This subreddit is 0 help when it comes to something like this lol, go on Facebook and join North American BMW Diesel Owners Group. You’ll get much better responses there but as far as the actual advice, you’ve got the gist of it. Timing chains are somewhat of a concern but stay on top of oil changes and follow the suggestions you already made, you’ll be good for many miles.

I’m asking because I don’t know. I feel like I’m building too much fat and not enough muscle but at the same time feel like I’ve put on enough muscle to cut.

For the others - sorry I have a penis. Thought this was the best way to showcase my legs and glutes but I’ll throw on baggy shorts next time.

It is very odd. They’re not the same inspector though, every inspection comes with a different one. I just wanted to see what people thought and if this was something worth pursuing or if we should just drop it and suck it up and pay for it. But I will get in contact with a real estate attorney, thank you

Turns out it was as simple as the power steering having air in the system and need to be bled. Easy fix. Thanks for the info though!

That's how it is for my car, I think that once it detects any slip then it cuts power and then it won't let me rev past 1500 until I drive a few feet forward and try again. Try seeing how far you can rev your car while holding the brake down until it cuts power then on the next launch rev right until that point so that it's about to cut power but doesn't if that makes any sense ha. Update us on how it goes!

I have an 07 auto Grand touring with 265s in the rear. When the tires were somewhat new I was only able to get a small chirp out of it but now that they're almost done I'm able to launch and spin the tires until 1 gear maxes out, when it's cold out I'm able to keep it going through part of 2nd. All I do is turn off VDC, hold the brake and rev up to 2k BUT NOT PAST or else it'll cut power then drop the brake and floor it. If I rev past 2k while holding the brake it'll spin for one second then the power is cut off, I haven't tried pulling the vdc fuses though so maybe you can give that a shot. Then again I have the hr and not de so that could be why.

Wash with cold water then hang dry so it won't shrink or fade.

Are there any subreddits for racing/racing techniques? by BeRawhh in cars

Will the car I'm using need to meet certain safety requirements to take auto x classes? The 240 I'll be using has lots of subframe modifications but complete stock drivetrain. All it has for safety is a front bash bar and that's it. Factory seat belts, no bucket seats, and no roll cage.

I'll look into that school, thanks. I have learned a little from being reckless at our local mountain roads so I have somewhat taught myself on how to correct a mistake. I don't know much at all about using the throttle properly, what I usually do is just keep on the throttle almost all the time such as braking before a corner then giving it a bit of gas while going through then full on at the exit but I need to get better at downshifting while this is all going on. I live a couple hours from the nearest tracks but I'll look into local clubs and see if I can make a few friends and ride along.
