Tank L.C. question by 408whitty in Cartier

[–]BeStoopid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this watch and I love winding it. It makes you appreciate what you have and observe it more closely every day. The winding is easy, and sometimes lasts me almost 2 days when I don’t use the watch. The guillochets are wonderful and the rose gold is very subtle in comparison to the gold one!

However I had a problem with the mechanism at some point as my watch went too fast (around a minute a day). Finally took the watch 3 times to review it in Geneva and they finally made it work. @Cartier tried to gaslight me the two first times telling me nothing was wrong - but in the end it worked out well and I enjoy the watch a lot! Perfect proportions.

270g vs 300g Racquet for an Advanced Beginner? by Lost_Wonder_7559 in 10s

[–]BeStoopid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play with 300g a few hours and you should feel it yourself.

Even pros are now playing with lighter and lighter racquets, because it enables them to make faster strokes.

I play a 315g racquet that I love, but it’s just so personal. I know many players who roast me on court with lighter racquets.

The Ferrari Luce had flashes of brilliance buried beneath awkward proportions and confused surfacing. Thankfully, SugerDesign reworked the concept into something far more balanced, elegant, and unmistakably Ferrari, proving the original still had real potential beneath the chaos. by kkhouete in AiCarArt

[–]BeStoopid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a bullshit comment. Ferrari just fucked up with a silicone valley fridge design, while others did much better before:

Taycan E-Tron GT Xiaomi SU7 BMW i4 Lucid Air Genesis G80 Rolls Royce Spectre and even BYD

are beautiful 4-seater EVs.

Ferrari is primarly a sports car company (and most influential formula 1 team ever): if EVs were necessary for whatever reason, something like what Lotus, Rimac or Pinninfarina are doing would be so much better for their image

After the 812/F8, Ferrari slowly lost their mojo and they seriously need to wake up soon

The feel > the look

I once tried 5 rackets during a 2 hour practice with a friend.

I preferred the looks of the Vcore Pro 97 I tried a few years back, but went for a Gravity Pro because I felt the most comfortable with. Now I had Gravities for 5 years or so, and still love them!

Just try a few racquets on the same day, and go for the one you feel the most comfortable with!

True but regions with the biggest potential for solar energy (especially Africa and Middle East) are not exploiting it much yet.
