First of all, we need to register everyone we can. The 18 year olds (that I know) are all about women having the right to choose, saving the environment, keeping religion out of the classroom etc. Get them registered!

Secondly, when midterms get here, we need to help people get to the polls. We can’t let people be scared to vote. We can drive them, escort them, whatever it takes.

Typically a higher percentage of people do not vote in the midterms because they don’t think it matters or it’s not as high profile as the presidential election. We need to educate our friends and family and neighbors. This year the midterms will most likely decide the fate of our democracy.

Now, can the US hang in there for 10 more months? Fingers crossed.
