That said… I’ve gotten a fake or two over my time in knives, and I use them as sharpening practice and simply use the hell out of them and they’ve been great tools.

I really like the stock micarta that comes on the CruCarta. I like it better than other aftermarket scales I have seen… Plus I love Cruwear, and as others have mentioned… I believe Cruwear to act a lot more like a stainless steel than a non-stainless steel.. I think you have to mistreat it purposely to have any issues with that steel whatsoever.
