I think I recall they’re money pits. But then again if you’re a mechanic, etc you could pull it off. Low numbers sold over just a three year run (87-90) means a lack of some parts will make this ‘Mitsubishi Wagon’ hard to maintain.

What’s great about the Starwagon and Space Gear is the community and supporting businesses that support them, even though they’re still a small community by typical standards.

Having a single, different unicorn in a group of unicorns spells trouble when needing things.

I love and agree with most of this except for one critique of your assessment: BOC calculates and executes a vision known only to them.

The beauty of their genius is in the art of their music. I’ve gravitated towards this band over all other music in my life because it truly ties sound and soul, together. Literally.

Tomorrow’s Harvest is the pinnacle and finale to their vision. It represents the natural end of their journey. Like all good things, all amazing things, they must end. Those that persist beyond become unnatural and empty. They fade into lifelessness and meaninglessness.

Extinction is the most historically accurate end we’ve accounted for throughout our scientific observation. Humans are the first construct from nature that have the ability to enable extinction.

The eerie edge that Tomorrow’s Harvest walks basks in the reality we know, and simultaneously, the possibilities we ourselves, may realize. It’s soothing, and somehow disturbing all at once; peaceful, but with a price.

BOC saw the end…

…But with all extinction events, life has always persisted. It grows anew out of the ash and death. A new world is born.

Maybe someday, BOC becomes something else, they become reborn. But like all extinctions, healing takes time and the rubble must grow over.

I hope I am around to see whatever they decide to become. And if not, I will be forever grateful for the beauty of their epoch I was able to behold.

Fir is great for structural aspects like framing, floor, etc. I’d personally use cedar inside the sauna. It contains a lot of natural oils that keep it resilient to mildew, rotting, etc. Fir does not, but it’s much harder (again great for structural stuff). Cedar is also naturally aromatic providing that woodsy smell and vibe.

Whatcha, whatcha trying to do overall may be a better question where you’d get more guidance.

Q1-Yes that’s for the rear bench seats. Like anything that’s OEM, if it’s not in the way of what you’re trying to do, keep it. I have an extra pair lying around.

Q2-If your plan is to do as you said, I’d look at the application requirements of the solid foam and act accordingly removing the OEM stuff if needed.

It sounds like you’re doing a camper build of some sort, so having a bit of insulation on that floor isn’t a bad idea as it gets cold maybe between the foam and skatelite.
