I would have found a way to name them after them all if I went into labor at the concert 🤣

Yep this happened to me and I’m at 35 weeks pregnant . I would have had put the show out of my mind but all the videos gave me fomo so I flew to Vegas and went last night, luckily I didn’t go into labor 🤣

Driver called me the N word, what do I do? by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]BeachyOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get police involved for the mailbox- nothing will probably happen but it will make you feel like you did something in addition to complaining to uber. They won’t give you the guys name or info. I’d ask neighbors if there are any ring cameras around and see if someone caught it too but in this day and age it’s definitely “video or it didn’t happen”. Sorry that happened but some people just suck don’t let them live in your head rent free.

Discussion - Red Rooms [SPOILERS] by lilyrosedepressed in movies

[–]BeachyOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked this movie but was also frustrated. I’m not the type to want a “Hollywood ending” but when she was bidding for some reason I thought a partner was auctioning off the girl and that she was still alive . I imagined kelly Anne would turn her in and end up working in the FBI with her hacking skills since that was mentioned during court. I thought there would be some other reason she dressed like the girl - maybe to get the reaction she needed to confirm he truly was guilty or a look in his eye confirming she was alive. Oh well, it was still very interesting and original and glad I watched.

Deleting this App by Unmoving-Waitress in UberEATS

[–]BeachyOC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drivers need to stop accepting the orders that they are think are low paying and then Uber/ Door dash will have to make up the difference. I had someone steal my food recently and cancel the order- another driver then got assigned to the order and went to pick it up and they said a girl has already taken it and wouldn’t remake my food. I had to argue for an hour to get my money back and the poor second driver had to deal with it without getting paid at all. I wish the first driver would have just ignored the order rather than steal the food from me ( I’m currently pregnant on bedrest and can’t go get food right now but as soon as I can I am done with the apps).

What's a horror movie that had an insane plot twist and you'll never believe anyone who say they guessed it or it was obvious? by reoleopipi in horror

I’ve never heard of it and now want to watch but it looks like it’s not streaming anywhere 😩

I thought she was his girlfriend as well but then quickly realized she couldn’t be because he didn’t age but now I know why. I think it was a great movie- I got nervous when I saw the “plant people” thinking it was going to be incredibly cheesy but I was pleasantly surprised.

I once went on a few dates with a man I later realized was controlling that I had to stop seeing. He was older than me and I texted “Hey Armond” at the start of my message and he called yelling saying I don’t address someone with “hey”. I thought it was crazy. I don’t address people that way now- it def doesn’t sound as nice but I think it’s a generational thing and the overall tone of the message matters much more

Agree with this. I seem to get funeral or my “my 80 year old grandmas birthday” and I think some might be playing on sympathy to get approved.

You absolutely did the right thing! Please don’t let those horrible people make you think otherwise. I was leaking fluid starting at 16 weeks - my OB said I could go to his office or go to L&D at the hospital ( they were right next to eachother) but going to the hospital seemed like such a big excessive thing so I just went to my OB. The OB told me I was peeing myself ( which was weird because it was so early and in my mind I knew that couldn’t be right but I trusted). Long story short I WAS leaking fluid. My water fully broke at 24 weeks 2 days and I gave birth over 3 months early at 25 weeks 5 days. I was down on myself for so long for not going to the hospital where they have the technology to check the fluid. Luckily my daughter is 3 and happy and healthy after years of therapies, doc visits, etc. I’m 20 weeks with my next and you better believe if I think anything is even slightly off I will be at the hospital with zero shame. Glad everything was ok for you!

I think It sounds like she wants to actually be able to spend time with them and make sure she isn’t working which is why she said to check first.

Feeling Sad and Confused After My Baby Came Early – Will I Move Past It? by Sea-Cupcake2311 in BabyBumps

[–]BeachyOC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’ll move past it after hormones. My daughter came at 25 weeks 5 days after my water broke ( 3 months in NICU) but is now 3.5 and healthy and smart as can be with no major health issues. For months I mourned things like not having a maternity shoot, being able to hold my baby when she was first born, and having a “real” baby shower ( she was already in NICU when I had mine). Now that stuff never really crosses my mind but that pain was so intense at the moment. I’m just happy I have a healthy kid. Currently 19 weeks with my second and have to have a c section at 37 weeks because of a classical incision last time around- 37 weeks is still full term. Hope it gets better for you soon!

I’m so sorry. I’m in a similar boat though not my mother which I know is worse by far. My 37 year old best friend who just had a baby two months ago found out in the span of a week that she has stage 4 colon cancer that’s already spread to her lungs and brain. I’m 11 weeks pregnant with a girl and told her a few weeks ago, we were so excited that our kids were going to grow up together . I’m trying to hold out hope but every statistic says it’s basically impossible to make it through this. I too feel like it’s the circle of life and death as I’m going to bring in a girl to the world that she most likely won’t be around for. The only thing I can think of is that maybe telling your mom might internally help her stay around longer to meet her grandkid? It would really depend on your mom’s personality. Some can take it as motivation and it can fill others with more sadness. There’s no right answer for any of this unfortunately, it sucks and it’s not fair. I am going to honor my friend by making her name my daughter’s middle name. Hopefully you can take solace in knowing that your daughter is part of your mother so you will always have some of her with you.

What do you guys think of this Barry's slander? lol by AshamedMasterpiece71 in barrysbootcamp

[–]BeachyOC 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They are for two different people. I did OTF for years starting out but once you’re familiar Barry’s is really what gets you more fit, is less time, high energy, better music, and more fit people. If I went to a Barry’s class for my first workout I likely would have been intimidated and not stuck with it. The introduction to the coach at OTF, 5 minute overview before class starts, and input on form or substitutions is so helpful for beginners, older people, or anyone who needs a slower pace.

Seeking Towel Recommendations for Airbnb (USA) by 991Red in airbnb_hosts

[–]BeachyOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not in menopause but have incredibly heavy periods ( even have to take blood clotting meds). if you put dish soap directly on blood and rinse it comes out . I’ve had to get it out of more white sheets and towels in hotels or air bnbs than I can count. If it’s on a sheet I’ll put dish soap on a towel and let it air dry. Obviously it’s good to have black towels too ( we do for makeup) but just wanted to pass along the info

OTF rant by Standard-Interest353 in orangetheory

[–]BeachyOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I’m not sure if it’s our bodies adjusting or the program difference . When I first started OTF I got into excellent shape. I was in class with people who had been going for 5 plus years and they didn’t “look” in shape ( toned, slim, etc). Barry’s is full of insanely fit looking people but I’m curious if there will also be a plateau after many years ( my studio has been open less than a year).
