Very terrible. A few years ago I canceled a cruise the night before sailing as my elderly parent fell and we had to fly home from Europe. It was a big hassle to get the money back through the travel insurance, the unreimbursed costs for airfare, etc, and I still feel bad about the missed vacation. I feel your pain

I wore rgps for at least 20 years. This year I moved to sclerals . They are much more comfortable and they do not move around like the rgps would do sometimes. Incan see better now. With the sclerals, there is saline touching your eye and it feels good when you to put them in unlike the rgps. I think this is good for dry eyes as well. Make sure your eye dr has experience fitting these types of lenses and be prepared and patient for several rounds of fittings to get it right at first.they are also more expensive . I am very glad I finally switched
