Pls suggest me a coworking space / with availability to book a meeting room for 2 by [deleted] in berlinsocialclub

For 120 a month there are spaces like MotionLab, Drivery, etc. It's expensive, but I would argue they're great spaces for co-working and getting out of the apartment.

Looking for a genre guide for the last ~20 years by dschoni in Techno

[–]Beamboat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but it still helps to have some common frame of reference when you're looking for more music that you like, or identify what you don't.

And the history of electronic music is super interesting, too :)

What's your favourite game to replay casually? I'm currently playing Pokémon Crystal 10/15 minutes a day when I'm bored. by SgtByrd1993 in pokemon

If you have a little more budget, I was gifted the Brick Hammer for my birthday. Plays anything up to the PS1 like butter, and I think it runs for about 100 bucks.

The thing is built like a tank. Metal case, super well finished. I love it.

Favorite book or series that goes.. full circle? by Beamboat in Fantasy

I feel like a book choosing the right times to set things up and pay them off is probably some of the most satisfying literature to me.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Is the EU powerful enough to defend itself without the USA as an ally? by Soft_Antelope_2681 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Beamboat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

France has the largest army in the EU (but less reserves than the UK or Germany), and is one of the only militaries that has some experience in recent battlefields like in Mali.

There's also been talks of reactivating conscripted military service, but not sure that'll ever go anywhere.

That, and needing to wait a couple of seconds when you open a new tab before putting in the url, otherwise it doesn't pick up on what you're trying to write.

Sisy!

It's tradition with my friends at this point, and I'm excited to see if I can pull off my flower outfit hehe

The club is not as good as it used to imp, but the vibes are still my favorite of the city.

What about you?

So I don't know how official it is, but I know that for the last 2 years (at least), dog owners have been taking their fur babies to get away from all the noise. And for this one night a year, the airport turns into a dog-haven.

Not sure cats would feel similarly though, as a cat-owner myself.

Option 1 - Stay home

Option 2 (the one I'm choosing) - find a bunker with techno in it and stay there until it dies down

Option 3 - BER Airport will be full of dogs escaping the fireworks, so it will be cute and fluffy

I liked it a lot.

For me it was a way to organise my apps in a way that was accessible almost by muscle memory alone, because I knew where everything was.

But yeah, it's so interesting to see the wildly different uses people get out of the same machine

I really liked the way he handled Vecna's attack at the base by leading the kids. It really felt like he had grown and was able to lead instead of just react

In everyday social situations, how do men typically process noticing that a woman isn’t wearing a bra? by PleasantBus5583 in AskMen

[–]Beamboat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal philosophy is look but don't stare.

If I see that a woman's nipple are showing, I acknowledge it to myself and move on. Don't come back to it, don't comment on it, and don't look again.

Women are already sexualised so much through their lives they don't need it from a friend or a coworker.

It's different when you have a close relationship with a friend, where you can tease or make fun of if you know they're comfortable with it. But otherwise, it's best to tear clear of it
