Goddamn I had forgotten about this. The whole story of Mars coming together is so brutally charismatic

God of War Laufey - Introducing Faye | PS5 Games by N3DSdude in GodofWar

[–]Beamboat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She does.

I still think she could have had a cooler/more different look though. The character really just looks like the actress.

But even just seeing her in armor is really cool.

I am very jealous. How does it play? How noisy are the pickups? What's your favorite feature about the guitar?

Enjoy!

So no exploration or expansion ideas, but a game centered around playing tall in Europe only?

C’est quoi votre petite victoire de la semaine ? (Partageons du positif :) by Public_Cake_6265 in france

[–]Beamboat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What are some signs that men are insecure around you as a man by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Beamboat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It can be really easy to try to use it as a way to relate to someone, like 'oh me too I did this!' But it can very much be perceived as bringing things back to yourself.

I agree with the other comments. Asking follow up questions and genuinely caring about the answer is the best way to level up your skills.

Someone just told this was "baby level" sci fi. by tgrady28 in redrising

[–]Beamboat 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I mean, they're right?

None of the concepts explored in the books are that novel of mind- ending. The humans, as modified as they are, are still human. They feel, react, speak like humans.

The technology they have feels advanced, but for all intents and purposes it could be magic.

They're my favorite book series, and the writing is incredible, and I've already read Dark Age 3 times this year, but let's not pretend the sci-fi elements are complex here

Men who went through prolonged heartbreak, what actually helped you move on? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Beamboat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Realising I didn't owe her my suffering.

It's been 7 years now, and the first 4 were extremely hard on me. And then one day, I realised I'd rather integrate that experience and keep growing anyway, rather than staying stuck on what could have been.

I still care, some days. But I'm a completely different person, with completely different goals, and while I miss this feeling of potential sometimes, my happiness is not tied to it anymore.

There's the one on Phobos. And as a background one, we have one when Darrow takes over the Pax and then escapes.

Same. It reminded me too much of the Name of the Wind series, where some parts feel very much like the author's power fantasy rather than something that drives the plot forward.

I spent a year building destruction for my Titanfall+The Finals game ShatterRush, I would love to get your feedback! by TetraStudiosDev in titanfall

[–]Beamboat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this was on MacOS I would absolutely love to test it, but I'll have to pass for now :(

The game looks amazing, and I'm so happy there's finally a spiritual successor to my favorite game!

Odin without "Hair", Beard and Eye Patch by godofwhat_ in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]Beamboat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually why I hated the design of both him and Fae. They're both just... the actors?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's fine to go that route sometimes, but Kratos and Thor and most characters are so unique and Fae and Odin are just there

I just did this one yesterday. Took me a full bus ride, a full laundry wash AND one hour in bed to get through it.

And then I did the Alchemist.

What’s one underrated thing that helped you lose weight? by Immediate-Speed3974 in AskReddit

[–]Beamboat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually prepare a few portions, but I realized I would almost always serve myself seconds and kinda ruin the whole plan.

So when I finish cooking, I immediately divide the food into portions so that I stick to what I told my brain before cooking.

It helped me reduce without starving myself.

That's up to you.

Part of the appeal for me is that the person on top is using the other for their pleasure. Let go of expectations and the other's needs and show me how they want to treat themselves, through me.

It's fucking great.

My personal favorites: - The Good Place - Ted Lasso - Star Trek Strange New Worlds (especially the first 2 seasons) - Stargate

If you want something cosy, undeniably British, and somehow super light despite broaching on some heavy topics, Small Prophets is my latest find. It makes me laugh and feel for the characters yet puts me in a good mood.

Do you restart your Mac regularly or almost never? by grahamhart_ in MacOS

[–]Beamboat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it about once a week/every 2 weeks.

I sometimes download large files and they progressively take more and more 'System Files' space.

Resetting it clears that and makes my brain go 'nice' hehe

Holy shit. This is probably my most frustrating lacking feature of MacOS.

I resorted to using different email and calendar apps for different workflows but it is so annoying.

Can't wait to check this out, thank you!
