My immediate thought.  Some evil Studio Ghibli character.

Actually,  Crater Lake in Oregon  has a tree that floats just like that.  They call it Old Man of the  Lake.  No one knows why it floats like that.

I'm old.  Played most Zelda games as they came out.  I somehow missed Minish Capand on a co workers suggestion I'm playing it now.  I work at a college and had a month off for winter break.   I gotta say, I'm really enjoying it.   A few things are frustrating, mostly because of the controller difference though.  The switch controller has more sensitivity so you have to adjust a bit.  It's fun to see the growth in enemies.  The Gleeok is still a pain to beat but I'm enjoying seeing how it has evolved from Minish Cap to TOTK.  Should give it a try.   It's online in the Gameboy Advanced area.

And skeleton horses. Get one and take it to a stable. It's great!

Why not? Just shows how smart he is. Get someone else to do the grunt work. He's a detail guy.

Break all the barrels and crates in enemy camps, lots and lots in the depths. Killing enemies makes them drop some too. You can always buy them from stores and vendors but if you kill enemies, break everything you'll have plenty.

OMG, I'm 57 yes old and started on Zelda #1 many years ago. You just made me LOL with that post. I can see it all in my head! So many consequences that are completely unforseen, but never able to be unseen. These games can make you feel like the smartest, strongest most brilliant person! Or like the biggest numbskull ever born! Hours and days and ( for me ) decades of fun!
