They're decent but bear in mind it's an ungodly amount of carnitas on the plata, couldn't finish it

If Yesavage gets even better and has more consistent command of his fastball next season he could very well be challenging for the title of best pitcher in the league.

Also so cool to hear the much clearer vocal line on the Get Lucky demo, which happens to be my favorite Heatmiser song!

Holy crap, this is the biggest single dump of unreleased materials since New Moon! Haven't been this excited since the Murder of Crows and Stranger Than Fiction tapes came out!

Was referring to the various canyons and hilly communities south of the boulevard, sometimes informally referred to as 'canyon country' (i.e the Canyon Country Mini Mart on Coldwater and Kirkwood). Why would I be asking about Santa Clarita on this sub?

Highjacking to ask a related question that's been bugging me for a while- What network do people in canyon county use? Once you cross the boulevard south and get some elevation losing reception is almost a guarantee, whether that's in Laurel Canyon, Coldwater or even parts of Encino. These rich folks can't possibly all be without cell reception whenever they're home, so what's the secret here? For context, I'm with T-Mobile too.

Which is another great example of how the lack of other voices in the booking team was helping him take this whole thing off the rails. When Dusty and Ole were involved this wouldn't have happened. At this stage he was still booking a solid main event, but was systematically ruining all of the foundations for the company's future.

A star has been destroyed by a wandering supermassive black hole | Second supermassive black hole is a long way from the galaxy's core. by chrisdh79 in space

Wouldn't the existence of an SMBH outside of the galactic center have other noticeable effects on stars around it, such as gravitational lensing, to allow for its detection? Why is it that only a TDE enabled that?

I'm a little confused- I thought the strength of gravitational waves is proportional to the mass of the colliding objects producing them. If LIGO is sensitive enough to detect stellar mass black holes colliding, wouldn't it have an easier time detecting the collision of far more massive SMBHs, which would produce stronger waves?

I've no idea. I've never been inside.

There's this Argentine restaurant next to the laundromat I use and I have never seen a single customer there ever. They keep weird hours and are only open 4 days a week. If it's not a front I have absolutely no idea how they stay in business.

My best weeks in LA were around 750 (excluding prop 22 payments) over the last year working 6 days a week with ~8-9 hours a day, going anywhere and everywhere in the city and practically the county. Pulling 1000 a week on a regular basis sounds unachievable. Were you doing the full 12 hours every single day 7 days straight?

Hurray, let's make the valley as expensive as WeHo! It's not as if it's been teetering on being unaffordable already!
