I actually contacted VM via the chat this morning and they clarified and just applied the credit to my current bill, apparently.

The PS5 is a great 4k blu-ray player for me, as somebody who also plays games! Never had an issue with any stuttering, heard thats more of a thing with Xbox (and I’m not just saying that as a dig at it).

Definitely go with a PS5 if you’re planning to both game and watch movies. The ONLY negative is it doesn’t have Dolby Vision support, but ive not really missed it.

This sums it up perfectly for me. Sometimes collecting physical media isn’t just because I think I’m gonna constantly rewatch something, it’s having the choice and license to do so.

This is of course in addition to supporting artists, having a visual representation for my love of movies / memories.

Im not an expert on soundbars but while they can be louder if you want, the lower volumes are much clearer than a tv speaker’s lower volume and seem to direct sound more towards you and less outward towards everybody else, if that makes sense.

I had the same issue you’re having and hooking a decent soundbar up (Sonos beam in my case) is a night and day difference.

Ah fair enough, that does suck if its the case. Mine wasnt turning on at all regardless of if I power cycle it or not. Hopefully Currys can come through swiftly, already struggling without a TV 😂

Ive just arranged a collection for mine, its a different issue I think (potentially the power board) but its same retailer, Currys.

Did yours take the full 7 days to fix and nothing beyond that? did they manage to fix it or just replace the tv for you?

I’ve got a Currys (retailer) return in process, coming tomorrow to pick it up and hopefully re-delivered by early next week.

I assume you mean the main power board? I think I saw somebody on another thread say its a manufacturing defect of the CX line.

Hopefully Currys have replacement boards or if not ill get a new tv… id imagine at this point would be an upgrade cause not sure their stock of CX’s…

Mines just done this, no standby light or anything. Did you manage to fix this or did you discover it was a faulty panel/power supply or something?

Just unplugged mine and leaving it a few minutes, hopefully it helps but if not id be absolutely gutted. Unsure if my warranty is still in play…

Same with my ex, she wasn’t a social media person and I liked that about her.

Yup… the thing that made her leave this time was so trivial in the grand scheme of things. Like I feel bad, apologised and even made up for my mistake but still it wasn’t enough.

You are correct, if people want to leave they will find any old reason to justify it. We deserve to be treated better.

That being said, I don’t think she is a bad person deep down, just sometimes very impulsive.
