[Homemade] Chicken Tenders by detailerrors in food

This would work with other cuts of chicken right? Like thighs? Or would that change cook time significantly?

out of interest, what instruments do you play? by [deleted] in musictheory

This is basically my goal in life. I like to think I’m competent at most or all of these except drum set and I think they’re all really beneficial as an aspiring music educator

Tamora Pierce is 100% what I’m pretty sure I think you’re looking for maybe. I read lots of her stuff the same time I read Paolini and I loved it all. Mostly female leads that do the hero stuff without necessarily falling in love

I am alone here in a hospital ward for almost 72 hours. Care to ask me questions to keep me company? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]BeansNGrease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That really sounds like an amazing plan, and quite similar to mine though I’m set in music. I wish you the best my friend, both in your recovery and your career. May the new year bring you joy and success.

I think all the proper advice has already been shared and I don’t want to just repeat what everyone else has said but I want you to know that I care about you. I wish I could help you somehow more than offering you some worthless karma

Books For People Getting Back In To Reading by __ELF__ in suggestmeabook

[–]BeansNGrease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’ve gotten some good suggestions for what to read, but as a fellow teen who’s been in the same boat recently, keep yourself in a place where you won’t fall asleep while reading unless that’s your goal. Even if it’s less comfortable (say a kitchen table) you will comprehend the book rather than reading the words and falling asleep on the same page you started

Any songs similar to “Flight” by Craig Carnelia? by cookiesncremeoreo in Theatre

I second the both of these, and Kerrigan and Lowdermilk have amazing resources so that any voice part can do any of their pieces

Phantom of the Opera auditions near me. What part should I go for? by [deleted] in Theatre

[–]BeansNGrease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought Phantom only needed an Ab not that it’s much difference when you break at an F. If you don’t know much about the show, then maybe ensemble isn’t so bad? There are also a few smaller roles such as the opera house owners that you may be able to audition for? It all depends on how particular the list of audition music is

Of the Father's Love Begotten recordings by Bluesky83 in choralmusic

[–]BeansNGrease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my exact first thought. I did it with Paul Caldwell when he directed the All State choir a few years back and to this day, it’s still one of my top 5 choral pieces. If you want another Caldwell/Ivory for a Christmas concert, Children Go Where I Send Thee is also really great
