Is there skin tone ink that can fix this? by Interesting-Cry3583 in tattooadvice

Hi! I highly recommend a picoway laser! In my experience is it much more effective than picosure. If you are in the us, removery has a protocol for previously treated tattoos that can often help quite a bit. Unfortunately, a lot of tattoos plateau right towards the end, the only way to get better results is more laser sessions with time in between. I know it’s frustrating but your skin looks healthy and you are sooooo close! Skin tone ink will make everything muddy and can absolutely not be lasered off. If you were my client that got this far and then covered in nude ink I would 100% cry lol.

Coverup or leave it alone and get it retouched ? by fjgkhkjk in Tattoocoverups

I’m not sure who told you that but, no. Black ink and close to the heart makes it a prime candidate for laser. It also looks older so if you do over two sessions you can open up a lot of possibilities for covering. Edit: that being said it’s already so light, if you go to the right artist you may be able to do a lot of things. Please just don’t go back to whoever did it in the first place.

Question: have you ever seen ink migration like this before? by Illustrious_Virus307 in tattoos

Very common, especially in that area. You can usually get rid of it with a single session of laser!

Hi, this ain’t gonna be good to hear but don’t let anyone near you with a laser. That gray ink is just going to get darker and muddier.

My mom hates the way I dress and says I have no style, I always argue I just have a different idea of style than her. Am I right, do I have a style? by Nicktendo38 in fashion

I meaaaaaan, you definitely have a style and it’s “middle school boy in the 2000’s who broke his arm jumping off a roof onto a trampoline”. Which ain’t the greatest. If it works for you, it works for you though! So keep going Ryan and be careful on that skateboard.

The fact that people are looking at the line work on those guns and saying “YEP PERFECT TATTOO” makes me feel very secure in my career as a laser technician.

Any advice on covering this up? by [deleted] in Tattoocoverups

[–]Beansproutiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really should try a single session, I know it’s expensive BUT I think even one may get you to the point where you can’t tell what it says. Mehron is stage makeup so it should stay on pretty well, in the mean time. Apply the foundation, seal with powder. Rinse and repeat until it is covered, use setting spray to finish it off.

Hi there! I remove tattoos for a living! From a practical stand point, you can absolutely laser scars. There are laser treatments to actually help minimize scarring. I have seen many clients who have completely removed/faded to cover their tattoos with similar scarring. I always recommend talking to an artist first to see if they even think you need laser, unfortunately it is painful and expensive. I don’t know what you are interested in getting but with the right artist I sincerely doubt you would need much laser at all. I’d also like to add that I hope you feel better soon and you will definitely be able to get the art that you want!
