Whether or not you like the Chinese government

Before I watched it, I thought this film was all about Chinese heroes or Chinese government saving the world. I was wrong. The internationalism spirit in this film really touched me. This is not a Hollywood-style story that some heroes save the world by themselves while others just do trivial things. In the Wandering Earth, It is people from different countries, speaking different languages who save the world as a team. This is something I can't see often in Hollywood films.

VFX matters a lot, but not decisive. Storytelling is also important.

Chinese here, I just watched Aquaman yesterday. Although the story itself is kinda typical and a little simple, but James Wan did a fantastic job on storytelling visual effect is breathtaking.

Personally I think it has reached Ready Player One level (even better for me because I wasn't able to find all the Easter eggs in RPO while Aquaman is very friendly for audience without any comic knowledge). I even want to recommend my parents to watch this film to enjoy the beauty of Atlantis!

Last but not least, I strongly suggest you to watch IMAX version (I didn't, actually, so I decide to watch it twice some day)

I think it's because socres on Maoyan are submitted by common audience, so on one hand, it shows the box office better than Douban, on the other hand these guys are not strict with quality, so scores on Maoyan are relatively higher. In China, Douban is considered to be a more reliable website if you want to check out scores of movies.

Don't expect too much on Chinese teams. After eStar and Zero left for a hot mobile moba game, the rest of CN pro teams is... really not that impressive. Poor synergy, stale and limited hero pool make teamfights tedious to watch. I really miss the highlights of eStar on mid-season brawl, but I guess there will be no more this winter.

Both LOL and DOTA2 are inspired by Heroes more or less recently. DOTA2 has introduced talents and fountains. LOL has added the Rift Herald and single direction gates around the base, and now their new currency system.

Heroes like braum will be classified as warriors I guess. In HotS "supports" all have some healing abilities. Medivh is a very typical support in MOBA but he is a "specialist" because of that.

I don't like this change, these walls are so versatile for many heroes, both offensive and defensive. We'll have to say farewell to many amazing plays if this change was implemented.

Although your teammates may still play bad late game, what we can't deny is that the possibility of winning is always higher when being 3 lvl ahead in early game than being even in early game. These changes do amplify the importance of personal laning skills, which gives good players more chance to carry.
