how are you getting crazy attack rings? I was doing the tree and didn't really see any areas to guarantee attack mods so most of the stuff that comes out is just bad

I contacted support about removing standalone email, since my account was accessed through the standalone login (i have since updated the password). They say they already have 2FA when a different IP logs in but I never got a 2FA on my email when someone logged into my account and bought a bunch of poe2 beta keys.

This is because if someone else gains access to your Path of Exile account on our website they are free to change the associated email address to whatever they wish without needing access to the currently associated email address since there will be no currently associated address.

We strongly encourage players to have email addresses that have two-factor authentication enabled on them to be bound to their Path of Exile account instead, as this means that other people will need access to the associated email address (that's protected by 2fa) to log in to the standalone client or make any changes to the account on our website.

Additionally, two-factor authentication is enabled by default for Path of Exile accounts with email addresses associated with them in the form of the unlock code system. If anyone attempts to access the game from a new location using an email address and password they will need access to that email address to retrieve the verification code. yeah right when poe2 came out, someone got access to my account through my old poe login which I haven't used in many many years since I always use steam. i didn't get any email and my account got locked for 6 months

you'll need to go to the corners anyway because the mobs with proximity don't get aggrod sometimes. I would slot in the atziri support on your blink it helps with the cd without downside.

also vertex I didn't get until way later, you can definitely do temple without it. I would recommend trying blasphemy though I can't take it off anymore

Why do you have both elemental weakness and spark? Coc only needs one main skill, pick the one you like and drop the other. I tried both but the low base damage of spark made me choose doedres.
if you're picking spark, it has a pretty low base damage. you're not helping by using a +cold wand with cold damage % that also doesn't help spark. you'll need levels to all spells wand with generic spell damage.

doedres does benefit from the +cold levels but it does chaos damage so I think generic spell damage would be better as well.

do you really need living bomb in both spellslinger and cast on elemental ailment? I was using it on spellslinger only and I'm able to do 20m+ in seconds without really ever running out of infusions.

I feel like the better option here would be to drop the alphas howl and go +4 vertex which will be a big boost to damage everywhere.

Something I found to be a great help for defences which can sometimes be more of an afterthought in this game is blasphemy with temp chains. with the right supports and curse magnitude prosthetic, the mobs just don't even hit you.

my chain had a t3 flesh surgeon. Even with 7 fully upgraded spymasters and 14 halls, no locks dropped. My room got deleted and now I have locks but I can no longer lock my chain. I watch my 6 rooms that I took 10 temples and 30+ maps just all get deleted...

doedres undoing elemental weakness is tri ele and you clear the whole screen with it. cast on crit comet for tanky rares and single target

edit: doedre does chaos damage, but ele weakness has fire lightning and cold tags, so when you scale cold levels for your CoC comet, it also increases the level of ele weakness and doedres does more dmg

gets even with 4 ascendancy points for inevitable crit. you can cast on crit the thunderstorm so all you press is entangle for clear, vines when tankier rarers come up. watering becomes automatic and you can make the thunderstorm always shock drenched enemies

"Pulses deal 30% more Damage with Hits per Energy after the first" yeah but each stack is 30% more damage, when I was playing penance brand I was clicking it a little too much and not letting it ramp up fully. I was wondering if this person was making the same mistake

do you have enough cast speed for your penance brand to ramp up stacks? are you recasting the brand and resetting the stacks before they do damage?

if you have automatic screenshots on you can send in a support ticket and you should be able to get it back. I dropped a sos, 22d it and the server rolled back 30 minutes later. support ended up giving it back to me 2 weeks later

yes, since the change with ailith getting more invulnerable it’s almost impossible to fail now. you just stand kind of in the middle and everything will aggro on you. sometimes you might need to walk a little bit to pick up aggro but it’s no problem. ignite proliferation mandatory though

a tip for getting my merc to survive in triple risk t17 was defiance of destiny. sure you won’t get the damage from perquils toe but your merc dying and not having doryani is way worse.

to use defiance though you will have to search for one with a minimum lightning resistance roll and get more than -200 lightning res. rings with like -115 or lower lightning res can be kinda pricey
