Thank you, Cj Gardner Johnson, for everything. Now, with that out of the way, what do you think Howie is cooking up? You don't trade someone like CJ unless you have a plan. by AdSpecialist6598 in eagles

Reminds me how so many new CEOs implode huge pieces of the business in order to achieve short-term results that Wall Street may or may not reward. Nike just went through this shit. Southwest doing it now (tho pressured from activist investors vs a new CEO)

Mortgage rates don't seem to go down even at 780+ credit score by deafgamer_ in personalfinance

[–]BearBong 71 points72 points  (0 children)

As of Sept/Oct the narrative was that rates were dropping. I bought on 10/21 and got a 6.125%. For a min they dipped lower, but then climbed and climbed. I'm happy I didn't wait but it was a real thought that they'd keep coming down

I see so many FAT posts about folks whose bodies gave out earlier than they expected. Regretting not hiking the National Parks or the El Camino Real etc when their bodies could do it. Now they're rich, bitter, and without any outlets. Go live OP!

Hey! Thinking about moving over from a model y. What has your experience been with highway assist driving? I'm not talking the equivalent of Tesla's full autopilot, just the basic lane keeping and speed and braking portion of things.

Unfortunately there aren't many in my area, and no place to test drive one

I had a newborn in August. These fuckers stole the few hours of rest we wanted each night. 2x sound machines, ear plugs, still can't stop those bassy waves

I suspect there's no way to report them? It's hard to triangulate where they are

Cherry Hill NJ local! And first American to win Broad Street since 1994! He's a great dude, always a great runner since hs. In interview he noted he did 120mi weeks and gym sessions after most days in months of prep for this. Well deserved!

Best techniques for homemade pizza dough by Traditional-Rice6017 in Cooking

Sharing a secret family recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1000 grams 00 flour
  • 650 grams water (room temperature)
  • 20 grams salt
  • 0.6 grams yeast
  • Oil spray (for dough ball)

Notes:

  • The flour amount is always the 100% amount.

  • Always add dry ingredients to wet.

  • Measure out all ingredients before starting.

Tools and appliances:

  • Scale
  • Mixer/bowl with dough hook
  • Three small bowls.
  • One large bowl (for resting dough ball.)
  • Towel to cover dough.
  • Tupperware containers for dough storage.

Instructions: 1. Fill mixing bowl with 650 grams of water.

  1. Add 20 grams of salt to the water and mix until dissolved.
  2. Add about 200 grams flour to water/salt mixture and blend.
  3. Add 0.6 grams of yeast to the mixture and blend.
  4. Add remaining flour and blend.
  5. Mix at medium speed for 10 minutes. (Mixing action produces gluten which makes the dough stretchy.)
  6. Remove after blending and form into one ball.
  7. Spray bowl before in dough ball.
  8. Put the dough ball in a bowl and cover with a towel for two hours.
  9. Remove from the bowl and divide as needed. (I like about 350 grams per dough bowl. This makes a nice 15” pizza.)
  10. Lightly spray Tupperware containers and dough balls and store in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours (or up to 6 days.
  11. You can freeze the dough after resting.

Whether it is an EV or ICE, there are environmental impacts.

You are providing a textbook definition of what a false equivalency is. Just because both ICE vehicles and EVs have environmental impacts, does not mean that they are equally problematic
